Crystal Mare Suites

We spent part of our honeymoon in August here and immediately felt welcome. The location is perfect, and Elisavet made our stay extra special by sharing a personal list of restaurant and activity recommendations. Thanks to her thoughtful advice, we discovered places and experiences we would have otherwise missed, and it made our time on the island even more memorable. The rooms were really comfortable and tastefully designed, and we felt cared for every step of the way. It was the kind of hospitality that makes you feel at home – which is why we were a little sad to leave. Elisavet is such a warmhearted person! We would happily return in the future!

The accommodation was beautiful and the staff were absolutely amazing! They were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. Couldn’t ask for a more pleasant experience. Loved everything!

Impeccable contemporary vacations unit nicely decorated and spotlessly clean . it is situated right on a busy road , actually one of the main arteries connecting Naxos city(Chora) to the airport and other beaches. This made it impossible to sleep with open windows and enjoy the breeze of the island. It was imperative to close the windows and sleep with the air conditioning on due to high temperatures during the summer . Breakfast could have been better if they were including a greater variety in fruits, jars,nuts rather than the relentlessly same kind every day!

The owner could not have been kinder or more helpful. The room was beautiful. The location was ideal being a few minutes walk to the main beach. The town centre is 10 minutes walk away along the beach boardwalk. The quality of cleaning and laundry was absolutely first class Ideally the property would not be so close to a busy road but the quality of the insulation was so good that the noise from the road was unheard. Otherwise the property was faultless

Everything really - wonderful immaculately clean room, excellent breakfast and the best, most helpful and friendly staff. Can’t recommend highly enough! Elisavet (property owner) was very helpful from the start, sharing recommendations for food and activities in Naxos as well as providing maps. On our last day she informed us that our ferry was cancelled due to high wind and she went above and beyond to help, offering us to stay another night and even driving our luggage to the port later in the day when a later crossing was available! Nothing

Crystal Mare was a wonderful experience for our family. We all loved everything about our stay. The owner Elisabeth was very gracious, helpful and her boutique accommodations are perfectly designed in the Cycladic style and Greek hospitality feel. We enjoyed our chats with Karmen for always greeting our morning with a smile, and fun conversation. We had 2 rooms to accommodate our family. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful, the rooms are very spacious, the beds very comfortable and the location is perfect to access one of the best beaches in Agios Giorgios. It’s only a 5-6 minute walk to the beach and close proximity to Chora. We rented a car as we prefer to discover the islands we visit. It’s walkable to Chora but preferred to drive and find parking even closer or explore some other beautiful beaches and sites of the island. Even though it’s on the main road, it’s quiet and the grounds are very well maintained. This is a top choice if you’re visiting Naxos. Thank you Crystal Mare!! Everything was perfect!

Everything ! Couldn’t fault a thing, Elizavet was so accommodating. She was very informative on everything about the island. I cannot praise her enough. Couldn’t fault a thing, the property was so gorgeous and perfect location.

Our room was gorgeous. Spacious, immaculate, gorgeous decoration, lovely bathroom and small kitchenette. Had the best sleep I've had for a long time at Crystal Mare. Elisabeth was a fantastic hostess, and went above and beyond what could reasonably be expected to make sure our stay was wonderful. She is a really lovely person. Despite being on a busy road, we didn't hear any traffic noise because of the double glazing. Delicious breakfasts: lots of variety and high quality food. Situated in the quiet part of town, which suited us well, and we enjoyed walking to town. The landscaping is fairly young and very beautiful. Hopefully in a few years the Oleanders will grow up and provide some shade on the patio. It was a bit hot to sit out there in the afternoon.

Proximity to Hora, and to the beach, the extremely friendly staff and the wonderful owner, parking, cleanliness and restaurant near by. Breakfast included was great. Nothing.

The property is lovely, serene, clean, contemporary. It is a convenient 5 min walk to the St. George beach and 1 min walk to the local bus stop. it has a nice garden where you can enjoy a breakfast buffet. nothing

Elizabeth was the perfect host. she took her of us from minute one. She even went all the way to pack us a breakfast so we could go hiking early in the morning. She made us want to come back to see her. The room was spotless and really well decorated. You even have a private parking. nothing 10/10

Absolutely excellent stay. The room itself was big and had all the amenities we needed and was extremely comfortable! The staff we interacted with were kind and helpful and always had a smile on their faces. The breakfast was lovely every morning. We liked the location as it was a small walk from the calmest beach on the island, and a short walk into town. We hope one day to be back! Nothing comes to mind. Perfect stay.
