We had an amazing stay at Nida SPA! Everything was perfect—from the warm, friendly staff to the beautiful, relaxing spa and delicious breakfast. The atmosphere is peaceful, the hotel is spotless, and every detail made us feel truly welcome. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to come back!

Comfort, cleanless, quiet area, good breakfast, complimentary water in room swiming pool water changed colour of my swimming suit and my ring….. spa area could have some plants, it would make it cosy…. and would be good lamps in swimming pool would be on, because pool is very dark itself and feels like a swamp…. a bit ?

Nice SPA area They're apparently saving on the heating bill during winter season. Room temperature was 19C. There were two thermostats in the room - one for controlling heated floors and another for controlling A/C. Heated floors thermostat didn't affect temperature in the room. Reception advised to wait a bit longer until it takes effect, which makes sense for the heated floors, but after overnight stay it was still 19C. A/C was blowing cold air only and on the thermostat it was showing error. Very long wait times in the restaurant, even though food is good.

The room layout and closet space. Blocked lagoon view is good for what you can see over roof tops. Nice patio space. It is a pretty quick walk to grocery store and restaurants. The walk does involve a hill. Breakfast for people with allergies is very limited. I was given a very very small bowl of yogurt to eat. The room smelled like mold and the carpet was dirty. The furniture appeared worn and beyond prime. And for a spa hotel the towels were paper thin and no face wash towels. Nothing like other “spa” hotels I have stayed at with fluffy towels and farm fresh breakfast with loads of heathy options. And those hotels smelled great.

Some members of the staff were very nice and friendly. Room had a nice balcony and it was very comfortable temperature all the time without using air conditioning or heating. The hotel has a small spa. 1. The beds were extremely uncomfortable – two separate beds with two separate worn-out top mattresses that didn’t even stay in place. We have never slept in a more uncomfortable bed. 2. Breakfast was very disappointing for a 4-star hotel. Warm dishes had to be ordered from a menu, where every savoury option included eggs, and the quality was not great. The buffet was the worst we have ever seen – even small country hotels offer better. The selection was very poor and never changed. That might be acceptable for a short stay, but for longer visits you would expect at least some variety. The coffee machines constantly ran out of water. The buffet offered the cheapest possible cheese, salmon, and some sliced salamis. The croissants were over-baked, made from frozen pastry, and tasteless. The only thing we enjoyed was the freshly baked cake (though it was the same every day). 3. The SPA area (saunas, pool, and jacuzzi) could be nice if it were better maintained. The water in the showers kept switching randomly from boiling hot to freezing cold. The ice-water shower didn’t work. Several bits and pieces in the saunas were broken. The glass walls and roof windows were very dirty. There was no area in the entire hotel just to sit and relax after using the SPA. 4. Twice during the week, the hot water disappeared in the mornings in our room (we notified the staff). 5. There is no option to watch Netflix or other streaming services (confirmed by a staff member). Even though the TVs are smart, they only have YouTube and a few regular TV channels. Again, this might be fine for a short stay, but not ideal for longer ones. I really hope the hotel makes improvements – it has the potential to become a truly luxurious place in such a beautiful location.

No shower mat or grab bars. Difficult for elders to get in and out of tub.

We’ve been staying here for the past 4 years, every summer. The location and staff is great! Very comfortable and spacious rooms! We loved the breakfast. The place needs some reinvesting and maintenance. The cold shower (after the sauna) has been broken for at least 2 years! The himalyan salt wall inside the sauna is broken too. The steam sauna was broken this time also. The place is expensive, these things need to be taken care of.

Checking in with staff was very good. All counter staff were good except for one. Arriving with the bus, this counter lady informed me she didn't think there were any Bolt driver services. The next day walking about I saw several Bolt taxis about. Asking her where the shortest route by foot to the beach was, she responded to go simply over the hill and down the hill. Sounded close right? As seniors we found the route way too long and should have taken a Bolt to the beach. After kindly sharing that there were Bolt taxis about and that the route she gave us was way longer than she inferred, it seems she was a bit less friendly to us. Then when we checked out after three nights, she came out of the hotel to stop us, telling us that we owed the hotel for two chocolates that we allegedly removed from the refrigerator. We did not take anything and informed her of that. She rather frowned at us, not saying anything and stormed back into the hotel. I believe this lady would be better employed by the hotel in a position away from serving its guests. Maybe in accounting, or supply...somewhere in a back room. Also, I believe housekeepers should keep a much closer accounting of each room's refrigerator's contents, as this counter lady called up at our check-out and asked them to check the refrigerator.
