Comfort Inn Prospect Park - Brooklyn

Room served our needs but, typical of an NYC hotel, the room was small for 4 adults. The staff very friendly, location worked for our needs, room and lobby clean. Would stay again.

The people at the front desk were excellent. They were helpful, friendly, interesting and interested. And that wasn’t just my opinion. While we were chatting everyone who came off the elevator waved a cheerful hello to the man who checked me in. The bed was very comfortable and the blackout shades made it easy to sleep even in the daylight. The shower was fabulous. The room had everything needed in temporary accommodations. The breakfast room, although a decent size, was packed and difficult to move around. The attendant who was there Sunday morning August 23, 2026 was unnecessarily rude. I accidentally dropped serving tongs on the floor. I didn’t see anyone who I could tell so I put them back on the counter. But apparently this woman was nearby when it happened and she scolded me loudly in the middle of the crowded room for not telling her I had dropped them. It was unnecessary and inappropriate to embarrass me in front of a crowd of strangers, but she did it anyway. And I received some dirty looks because of what she said, causing me embarrassment - for what? An accident. She could have quietly replaced the tongs without scolding and embarrassing me. Nowadays smart televisions are complicated and difficult for older people to operate. Although I finally found the list of shows and channels I couldn’t actually get the shows by highlighting the listing and clicking on it or by using the number next to the name of the show. Some simple instructions in the room about how to actually access the shows using the remote would save time and frustration for people over 30.

Great, staff, comfort is their number one priority, keeps me coming back.

Everything was dirty. Including the halls. We had driven a long way and I was in shock when I got to my room. I did not feel good about how unclean the room was. There were runny stains in the walls. It was disgusting. The refrigerator looked like it was beat in with a bat.

Breakfast options were easy to choose from. I would say there were food options for everyone. In my room, there was a reoccuring high pitched noise that would occasionally irritate me and turn on while I was sleeping. And the AC in the unit was fine, but I felt like I was constantly having to turn it back on.

The staff was great . The room was clean and the view was amazing The parking area was very tight. Very difficult to leave the parking area. I have a somewhat large suv. The room was smaller than I expected. It was nasty stains on the curtains

The property was clean and located close to the highway and public transportation. The room was extremely tight, offering minimal space for movement. One has to sit on the bed while the other moves around or you rust bumping into one another.

Totally fine for what we needed Overall felt it wasn't that clean. Our bed didn't have a blanket and we had one towel for 4 people. The bathroom soap was broken and the vent kept dropping down

Nice property. Clean, varied breakfast choices. Within walking distance from several sites including eating places. Only caution is that parking at hotel is limited. There is a free option about a block down the road under an underpass. If that's full the other options are not convenient. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Common areas were ok and well maintained but room was too small. Breakfast was good.

The staff was very nice. The rooms were very small. They put us in the cellar we had no reception telephone, no reception for texting and no reception for Internet and not only that the TV didn’t always work. I let them know. They said they’re gonna try to help us. They said the only thing they can give us is 20% off the last night. Let’s see if that happens.
