Courtyard by Marriott New York JFK Airport

Find room for an overnight stay with comfortable bed and all needed amenities. The lounge served as a restaurant for dinner and breakfast. We had a dinner of sandwiches that were quite good although there was only one Cook and one server present so it took a while. The two of them did a great job under the circumstances. Overall, it was a good place to stay overnight while awaiting a plane the next morning from JFK.

The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. However, when we arrived the AC was out in the entire hotel. It was not fixed until the next day so sleeping was difficult in the heat. We were comped one meal (there were 2 of us). We ordered our dinner at the restaurant and never received it. We payed over $1,000 for 2 nights and this was not acceptable.

We were immediately assisted when we checked in and questions about transportation were answered. We settled in an had a delicious flatbread and wine with excellent service as we watched the soccer rooting for Columbia where our waitress came from.

The air conditioning was out and we were not made aware until after we had already arrived. We were not offered a fan or any way to stay cool other than opening the window if we happened to be put in a room that allowed the windows to be opened.

Convenient location. Nice staff. Carpets in hallways were worn.

To br fair, they did disclose this when we checked in but considering we checked in at 1AM, hard to look for another accommodation. A discount would've been nice considering the inconvenience.

The shuttle was very convenient and reliable. Location was perfect for access to the airport. Just a quick 10 min drive. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. The air conditioning in the room was not working properly so it ended being a hot night's sleep.

Broken air conditioner, extremely loud music until 1am, denied request to change room due to noise.

No computers working so only took cash for food and drinks Lobby not well maintained at all

Exceptional

It is summer time and the room was without AC. Called down to the front desk twice and each time they said they were sending someone up to fix it. No one ever showed up to fix it. The room smelled like a mildewed basement. The furniture was rundown. It was so oppressively hot that I could not sleep. Worse experience I have ever had at a Marriott property. Would not recommend.
