Gorgeous property
-
The room was clean. The staff was beyond welcoming and accommodating. The only thing is I wish that the check-in time was earlier as well as parking options with the hotel.
-
Minor Feedback: More towels for bathing and a mirror in the room (not in the closet).
-
Incredible hotel. Breakfast was a bit slow but it’s a restaurant so it’s ok. They are not in the breakfast business. The rest was magnificent. Ambience, coffee in the lobby, early check-in and late checkout. Fantastic staff.
-
This is always our go-to hotel when visiting family. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. The location is convenient, making it easy to spend time with family while still having a relaxing place to unwind at the end of the day. We’ve stayed here multiple times and have always had a great experience. Highly recommend

Great location
-
No bottle water available for guests unless you purchase. Rooms were old and need update. Carpet in room dingy. Not worth the money
-
We had a couple of issues. After a couple of nights, the hotel changed our room because there was an odor in the bathroom. The TV in the second room was not working. The engineer was unable to fix it. As a result, we missed watching a couple of FIFA games.
-
We had a nice surprise with 2 bathrooms in our suite. However, I would say they could put more money into the decor and furnishings which are cheap and shabby…and scant. The bathrooms were nice, bed good. For the price of a 2 room suite the Nomad is a good option.

Staff was extra helpful—provided fridge. Bar was a charming area
-
Great experience. Staff is super kind and attentive. No complaints!
-
My room was overall pretty small and super basic, no hanger for the towel even.
-
No storage in rooms even though there is enough space for a dresser. No iron in room. Staff is not welcoming and are rushed and short when one calls the front desk. Great location, but noisy on lower floors due to music from restaurant downstairs. Not staying there again - many other choices nearby.
-
Room was musty, stale and needing an update. Was supposed to get a food credit, no one mentioned on check in. No thank you or perk for checking in as a Hyatt member. Overall poor experience.
-
Comfortable rooms, very clean, and great location. I also appreciated that they brought cold glass bottles of filtered water up to the room even when we arrived past midnight. It was great not to have to use plastic alternatives. The doormen were exceptionally helpful. The beds have four long soft pillows on them. I asked twice at the front desk for regular sized pillows but they were neither delivered nor was there an explanation why my request was not fulfilled. Understand if they don't have them but would have appreciated some kind of response.

Clean private room and quiet
-
Convenient location, rooms are clean and bigger than other comparable hotels in the area, friendly staff. Great bar with live music on the weekend.
-
The double Queen bed room was large and very comfortable to share with a friend.
-
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. Great location, large rooms, clean and the staff were kind and helpful. Our only issue surrounded parking. There was some confusion about what garage cars were being parked in, so we had to plan to park our own vehicle one of the nights (rather than valet at hotel). We were able to walk everywhere but subway access would have been easily accessible if needed.

This was our third stay at the hotel, and there is a reason we keep coming back. The location is excellent and makes exploring the city incredibly convenient. The beds are some of the most comfortable we have slept in, which is especially appreciated after long travel days. We also love that the hotel is dog-friendly, as traveling with our dog is important to us. The property itself has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and overall we genuinely enjoy staying here. The rooms are comfortable, the neighborhood is great, and the hotel has consistently felt like a place we wanted to return to whenever we visit New York. The only reason I am not leaving a glowing review is because of an issue that has occurred during all three of our stays, and after experiencing it repeatedly, it has become difficult to view it as anything other than a pattern. We always book the same room category. We do so very intentionally. We travel with multiple large suitcases and need enough space to comfortably unpack and move around. We also prefer a specific area of the hotel because certain rooms have a much nicer view and a bay window layout that significantly improves the experience. Whenever possible, we request those rooms in advance. Each time we have arrived, we have come off an overnight flight from the West Coast, usually after eight or more hours of travel. We arrive exhausted, jet-lagged, and simply wanting to get settled into the room we booked. Yet on every visit we have been told that our requested room is unavailable and have instead been assigned one of the smallest rooms in the category. The first time, we assumed it was simply bad luck. The second time, we found it frustrating but gave the hotel the benefit of the doubt. By the third stay, however, it became impossible to ignore the fact that the exact same thing was happening again. What is particularly disappointing is what happens next. After we question the assignment and explain that the room we have been given is not what we were expecting, the room we originally requested somehow becomes available. Not hours later. Not the next day. Somehow, after a conversation, the room suddenly appears and we are moved. The issue is not that room inventory changes. Hotels are complex operations and occasional availability issues happen. The issue is the way this situation is handled. There is no apology, no acknowledgment that the guest experience has been negatively affected, and no effort to make things right.
