Beautifully restored renaissance building in a beatiful square. Around the corner from L'Assassino resturant frequented by Berlinguer, Segni and Cossiga. Bad transportation options in Sardinia and lack of care of Sassari.

Our host was fantastic. Parking was convenient, less than 200 yards away. The locations was perfect, close to restaurants and other attractions. We would say there again. The breakfast was more than ample and delicious. Our host was amaxing. We liked everything about the hotel.

Comfortable, clean and stylish room. The breakfast was plenty of chose and it was perfect. The staff super helpful and attentive, offering instructions with parking prior to arrival, also instructions for check in at our late arrival. We also got advise for ordering the restaurant in advance. It was very pleasant because it felt that the staff genuinely cared about us.

Very handy for centre of town, tucked away down s side street. Helpful staff, clean rooms, perfect for our short stay.

Great location for seeing Sassari. Helpful and friendly staff. No parking (the Locanda is in a pedestrian street off a main street) but parking is available in nearby Piazza Mazzeotti. Be warned though - we used our satnav to get to Piazza Mazzeotti and it took us through an endless and nightmarish warren of narrow back streets, totally unnecessarily. Stick to the main streets if arriving by car. The walk-in shower was smaller than it looked. We could have done with more pillows.
