Doubletree by Hilton Newark - Fremont

We have always booked with Hotel.com and received a standard room. However, on this stay, we were given an ADU Room, when we inquired the issue, the hotel upon check out, the front desk advised us to not booked with third party to avoid such issue and book directly with them. This does not make sense because we have always booked with Hotel.com and we are always satisfied. So, who gives and who responsible in issue a particular room. I would appreciate a response. Nice hotel I liked it good job

The stay was nice.and the food was good.

I booked this hotel for a 1 night stay for a world cup game that i flew in for. The main reason for the booking this location was it offered an airport shuttle something that was advertised as rare in the area. When i called for the shuttle i was told the driver doesnt come in until 5pm we landed at 3pm. When pointing out the shuttle availabilty that is clearly stated on the hotel.com website, the woman at the desk said it is based on availabilty. Obviously there is a disconnect somewhere. We had to settle for Uber. On arrival i was able to make a return to airport reservation with the fron desk. Checkin was at 4 we had to wait till 430 for our room. which was on the 2nd floor. Cables were coming down the wall in front of our room which was right next to the elevator. Room was clean however the chair had no cusion and you litterally sit on a piece of metal. Not great when you ploop down. The did hand out some delicious cookies and the restaurant food was quite good. I would have stayed closer to the Venue i was visiting had i known about the transporation. But all in all it is a decent hotel.

Upon entering the room we could tell it was very clean, beds AND pillows were really comfortable to sleep in. Closing the curtains completely gave us a darker room in the morning which was nice. The outside noise was not bad that we could still continue sleeping even though the hotel is close to the freeway. I also liked the mirror on the side of the bathroom easy to use as it moves around. The only thing I didn't like but was not a big issue was when showering the water was not going and down the drain, even after getting out of the shower there was water. Again it was not a big issue.

Hard to park in the parking spaces are very small and it gets full on the weekends because of the bar the elevator did not work. It did not have a microwave. The refrigerated did not cool.

To start the parking was terrible you had to park very far away. The parking spaces were too small even for a small SUV. There were no carts to bring your luggage had to do everything by hand. The elevator did not work had to use a maintenance elevator, there were no microwaves in the room. The ice machine did not work had to go to another floor to get ice. Not worth what I paid for.

I booked this hotel to attend a World Cup match at Levi’s Stadium. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. I had a great stay and will definitely book here again for next matches.

It was a red flag when we had to sign a “no party” agreement after checking in. There was a band in the lounge which was a nice addition from most hotel stays. One of the elevators was out of service, so was the ice machine on our floor. In the bathroom, the toilet was hissing, and the shower didn’t drain well. The walls were thin, and we could hear the people on both sides of us and banging on the walls and one was playing loud music.

Room was clean, great service, pool was great decent size. Great location around many food places.

Breakfast was very good. Very quiet and comfortable. The air vent on the ceiling when you walk in the door was coming off of a litle bit at the corner.

Service is bad. Bad
