Hotel Carlton Nice

Excellent location to access the tram, train, beach, restaurants and shopping areas. The staff were exceptional - so helpful and friendly. They made my stay really comfortable. And, there is an excellent little breakfast/lunch restaurant next to the hotel with a great staff, great food and great prices. I love this hotel and will book again. Nothing

The hotel is in excellent location, very close to the tram station and the main attractions of the city. Spacious and well-maintained rooms. The hotel provides a kettle in the room. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is reasonably priced. Sound insulation between the rooms could be a little better.

Great location and a friendly staff

We were coming from a cruise drop off at the port and got in very early. We were able to drop off our luggage and the staff was able to have a room for ready for us shorty after noon that day which was greatly appreciated. Upon leaving for the airport the very early the next morning, the staff member very carefully described the tram process i.e. advance ticket purchase, validation purchase etc. The hotel is located in a very quiet beautiful neighbor with outdoor cafes within walking distance. The beach was just a short walk. The room was spacious and had a seating area and desk. Everything was very clean.

Location - close to main tourist restaurant and retail shop streets, but far enough away to have quiet setting. Very good pedestrian and biking infrastructure and close to tram stop. Modern and refreshed vibe.

We would have like a good air conditioner. But with the windows open at night there was a nice breeze. You just heard the community outside.

Friendly staff Location

Location Restaurant temporary didn't work.

The staff were so nice, friendly, left a great impression. House keeper, two receptionists, the Manger/Owner all treated me like home. Location was very practical. Quality accommodation. Clean and cozy, shower bath provided with supplies. Well. I didn’t miss anything for the price. There wasn’t any single thing to dislike.

The room is extremely small, the bathroom is really bad, looking so old .. if this is just renovated, I didn’t want to imagine how it was before

Staff went out of their way to make sure everything was excellent, the balcony was lovely. Nice atmospheric lobby, and I met the cutest little dog in the morning: pets being welcome is lovely.

Very friendly staff, nice and clean room, excellent value for money. Superb location, minutes from everywhere!

The room is little bit small

Location was great. Near the center and walkable distance to the beach. Staff welcomed us for check in at 2:30 am which was great. The price was reasonable for what was offered. The bathrooms could have been a little better. Other than that it was a good stay.

The bathtub was small and difficult to get in and out of.

Location. Nothing more Our room had no internet and not a working desk phone. The room in very small and should have a balcony over looking the boulevard but instead it over looked a set of noisy air conditioners on top of the adjacent roof. Very bad. This hotel should not have been rated 3 Stars

Basic clean room with kettle, fridge/water - iron& ironing board on request. extra pillows & blankets in the room also. On the 1st floor with lift & stair access. Room cleaned daily. The room was quiet no street noise. Location of the Hotel was excellent & in a very nice area on Avenue Victor Hugo easy walking access to all amenities in Nice. Bathroom was very dated but functional - More towels in the Bathroom as it was a double room. Single towels only. Better shower products would have been good. No view from the window ( looking at a wall on opposite side of lane way) as the room was at the side of the building re: entrance to car park etc., There are rooms with balconies available.
