This is the 2nd time this year we stayed at the Avra, we could not fault it .It was very clean and towels provided daily and clean bed linen every 2. We had a great room with a sea view which we requested when booking and we were not disappointed. It was a 5 minute stroll into the lively bustling town of Nidri. The breakfast were excellent and provided for every taste . The staff were very friendly and approachable at all times, the beach bar and restaurant were also good value and excellent service....we will return again to this hotel next year . There was nothing we could fault

It was quite, clean and very near the sea side. The stuff has been very polite. Do recommend. Nothing to add.

The property was beachfront which was great! Rooms were clean and a beautiful setting with loads of trees for shade Taverna was lovely but if you wanted a drink or food had to go into Taverna to order. My brother in law was asked to to enter taverna because he is wet and had to wait to dry before coming in to look for what he wanted to buy. Beach chair service may be helpful as well as more snacks for offer as you can’t take outside food into the beach or hotel.

Clean, comfortable in a great location. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Nothing to report about the hotel. Was disappointing to have to pay €5 each to sit on a sun lounger - would have rather paid extra on the room rate and shown my key rather than have to scrabble around looking for the cash to pay the attendant.

The location is amazing, right on a very nice beach with beach chairs, umbrellas and towels, all provided by hotel. The staff person we met was accommodating and nice. Breakfast was good. The price we paid (over 500 Euros per night for 2 rooms) did not at all match the quality of rooms we received - very small, extremely basic, burnt smell in one of them, air condition not working well, a very outdated bathroom with only a shower curtain to separate toilet from shower etc. More like the standard in a youth hostel. It was clean and the location might make it worthwhile, but the charge needs to be respectively.

Fab location and rooms were clean and modern. Beautiful outlook from the beach and nice garden. Too busy in high season - hotel has grown too big for the thin strip of beach - loungers are packed in and breakfast room was depressing.

Great location right on the beach. Simple but good room, comfortable enough, and sufficient for a beach holiday stay. Nice buffet breakfast spread. Great taverna attached with good reasonably priced food and drinks. Family run business and all staff were always friendly and welcoming. No real issues.

The location was excellent, we in particular liked the garden/beach area. The weather was very hot ( 32-36 hot by UK standards) and the area behind the beach was very nicely shaded by trees ( always a slight breeze) which gave you access to the beach and beach taverna. The hotel was just a short walk from the main street and the water front restaurants. The room décor was very good and I would imagine refreshed this year. Good beds ( 2 singles ) and a quiet room. We liked the taverna very much, for lunch and drinks. Very attentive staff, and mega garlicy tzatziki. Not having a lift, being that we were on the 2nd floor. ( the staff very kindly took our cases up to our rooms when asked) The air conditioner was positioned very poorly in the room such that it was not very effective. The nice modern and refurbished bath room was badly let down by a very sub standard shower head and mixer.

Very clean and comfortable. Great location by the water. Staff were very friendly and the Avra tavern served delicious food.
