Ionio Hotel

Access, nearby to the town of Nydri and Lefkada and though it was two stars the service and morning buffet was expectional. The host was helpful and the stay was perfect

The hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly and kind, and the location was very convenient and close to everything.

There is a busy road nearby, so you can’t sleep with the balcony door open, which by itself doesn’t mean the accommodation is bad, but it does affect the stay. Also, in the description it says there is a sea view, but from the first floor you can’t see even a glimpse of the sea.

Very kind and friendly staff. Nice view from our room under the roof. Parking in front of the building. Tasty breakfast. Nice view from the breakfast terrace. Location is a bit away from the restaurants area. No side walk to that area and it needs caution when walking because of the car traffic, especially when is dark.

Staff very nice!

The staff was very nice. Konstantina was very helpful and very dedicated. She is the best person for every information. The room had really nice sea view on the third floor, and it was clean. The breakfast was simple but enough. The bed was noisy and not very comfortable, need renovation, but for couple of nights, no problem :)

Our stay in hotel Ionio was amazing, the room was nice and cozy with AC and a view over the sea from balkony. Lady Constantina had always a smile on her face and was willing to help us with anything we needed, of course, I cannot forget to mention the delicious breakfast with homemade pastry every day. I totally recommend this hotel :)

Exceptional

The WiFi is very slow.

Everything was perfect the staff was friendly, and they even offered us an umbrella for the beach. The breakfast was amazing! The room was a little dark because there was only one window, but overall there were only positive comments!

It suited our needs perfectly. We stayed 2 nights in transit. It was clean, comfortable and cool. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was simple, but adequate. Beds were a bit hard, but not too bad.

The receptionist Konstantina was always smiling and willing to help. The hotel was clean, the rooms comfortable, the breakfast quite ok.

Exceptional

For the price it was a good place in Lefkada, especially with breakfast included. Its 1 minute to the nearest beach and two or three beaches reachable in 15-20 minutes walk. Nearby, about 10 minutes walk, was a village, with wide range of shops and restaurants. Quite big room, with spacious balcony. Because its just near the road, its a little bit noisy in a day time, when you spend time in balcony.

The only thing that I liked was that the property provided beach towels I don’t know where to start. Arrived at the hotel on the day we were supposed to start our stay, it was around 3pm and no one was present at the reception, had to call someone over the phone to ask them to come and do the check in, afterwards we had to wait for 1 hour for someone to come to check us in. Called them several times and they kept saying, 5 min/2 min but that did not happen as they were saying. Someone came after 1 hour waiting, gave us the room key and we went into the room, that’s when the fun started. Entered the room the floor was dusty both in the room and at the balcony. The bathroom was simply disgusting, there was hair on the sink, tap had water residue, there was also a swarowski fake stone on the sink, mirror was dirty, the walls were filthy with stains and water&soap residue. The bath floor was filthy as well with hair in the shower and with a shaver part on the floor. The bathroom handle was broken, the shower tap was broken and leaking as well. When going back to the staff that came and did the checkin for us and told her of all the faults of the room she again called someone and told us to contact ourselves the engineer with regards to the room to get an appointment, she told us to go to the beach and the tap will be fixed and the room will be cleaned. We did as they told, and expected that when we come back all will be well. We came back in the evening, the shower tap was fixed but the room and bathroom was still dirty and filthy. We left it as it was and the next morning called the manager to tell about the room to be cleaned, again we have been told that someone is going to clean it that day, which in reality did not happen. They also told us that they clean the rooms once in three days, we stayed there for 7 days and they have not cleaned our room at all, they only brought in towels, no toiletries, no bin taken, no hoovering, no floor to be cleaned, nothing.

I like the breakfast Cleaning,there is a lot of dust on the side floor & also at the drawer's it needs dusting
