Ha Lan Homestay

We absolutely loved our stay here! The place is beautiful, the food was delicious (my personal favorite was seafood fried rice HEHE), and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is very accessible, which made getting around so easy. The laundry service was excellent, and we were really impressed by how super fast they replied whenever we contacted them. Everyone was incredibly kind, warm, and accommodating. They also offer a convenient bike rental service. We’re especially grateful to the staff for allowing us to leave our bags even after check-out. That extra kindness meant so much to us. Hope to see you again someday, sisters and brother! Highly recommended! NONE.

Had a great time. Owner is very kind and the fact that they offer bike rental, laundry service etc makes it so convenient. They also have absolutely delicious fruit smoothies and good breakfast.

We loved our stay here. Location was excellent. Homestay was very clean. Staff were excellent especially with my children. Very friendly. Food was excellent. We are vegans and they even went out to buy us more tofu. Breakfast was fabulous. Nice hot shower. Coffee every morning and fresh towels. Thank you The bicycle and scooters could be maintained better. Scooter was battered.

clean, spacious, well-maintained, quiet room with great views of a few Ninh Binh limestones; relatively fast internet; restaurant with some vegetarian meals; location in the middle of the the top sights of Ninh Binh (nevertheless a motorbike or bike is necessary to reach the different places, since the area is widespread); bicycle and motorbike rent at a reasonable price; friendly and helpful staff information that on Tet holidays the boat rides on Trang An are closed would have been nice

Great location close to both Trang An and Tam Coc. Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke excellent English. A welcome drink upon arrival along with a map and advice on activities in the local area. Breakfast included. I got a free room upgrade to nice clean room with clean bathroom and balcony. The restaurant serves dinner, lunch and drinks. I highly recommend this homestay as a base for exploring Ninh Binh. Table and tea making facilities in the room, as well as a bench and clothes hangers. A place to park your motorbike or bicycle. Although my room had a table and tea making facilities, it lacked a chair. A chair for the balcony would have earned a 10/10 rating. The shower head had a leak and sprayed water everywhere. Apart from these small things I would give 10/10.

The breakfast was fabulous, had the choice of a drink, main, and a fruit. The hotel was clean and the room was big. The staff was absolutely incredible!

Yen was waiting for my arrival and welcomed me with a refreshment. After check in, I have received information about what to do and visit, with a map prepared from Yen, with the location, the prices, tips about the parking. Was invited to join an aniversary dinner of a family member in the evening. After lunch, a delicious cooked plate, I have decided to have breakfast, lunch and dinner at Ha Lan. Excelent preparation of your choice from Yen and the family, I have enjoyed all of the menus I have ordered. Music adapted to the moment. Ha Lan is in the country side, I have found strategicaly positioned for your visits. Room was clean, cosy, with nice view, was made every day. Had everything you may need for your personal care. Pool was clean, on the other side of the road. Covered motorbike parking. Family very friendly and helpfull about any information you need. I highly recomend Ha Lan Homestay and i will return again. I have not found something that was inconvenient for me!

Spacious, clean room, natural view of surrounding mountains and rivers. The hosts are very enthusiastic and give detailed instructions on tourist attractions. The homestay also has an on-site restaurant, delicious food, great free breakfast, delicious coffee. When I return to Ninh Binh, I will definitely return to Ha Lan Homestay. we couldn't stay longer!

Bedroom was big and the views were great. The room was a bit cold

Room was lovely and clean and ready early for us which we really appreciated after a night bus. Motorbike hire was easy at 150K and bicycle options were available for 40k. Location was decent walkable distance to the hang Mua view point and a short bikes ride to the boat tours. Despite not speaking much English the staff were fantastic and so lovely. Restaurant has affordable prices and the included breakfast is amazing We had an amazing stay Nothing

The room is simply decorated but beautiful and clean, the bathroom is spotless. The included breakfast was delicious with many options. The homestay also has a restaurant with many delicious dishes. The location is very close to Trang An and Hang Mua, convenient for transportation. The highlight of this place is that Yen and her family are very cheerful and friendly, they will always support whatever you need. If I return to Ninh Binh, I will still choose Ha Lan Homestay. I wish I could stay longer
