Chinh Thu Garden Retreat

The staff were so amazing! They literally helped with everything we needed. From bicycles, motorbikes, recs on activities, setting tables for me and my party(including a bunch of extras to eat), great coffee on request, towels at the pool, fruit plates, water freeflow. You name it. He even offered to make us a bonfire (we didn’t because we wanted to go out on the town). Great beds and bedding. No karaoke (what a blessing). Stunning views of the mountains all around the property. Amaze amaze amaze. -

Amazing nature, clean, spacious places, very nice staff, puppies! A bit harder for grab to get to the location a few times, and you have to go the nearby village for anything (only breakfast avilable). It is just a nice 15 minute walk though, so only slight inconvenience

Naa the pug comes to greet you with the loveliest of staff members, the bungalow is bright, airy and clean, the bed is so large and comfy. Trang could not do enough for us, from an early morning omelette sandwich and iced coffees to getting our washing done overnight, smelt so lush! There were bikes to borrow for free unfortunately it rained quite a bit on our trip so Trang got us a takeaway to our room! Made sure we had snacks and water for our onward journey, he was so utterly devoted, you could feel his love for the place and the area, ooze out of him. The farm down the road. This had no effect on our stay at Chinh Thu though.

The breakfast isn't very good. The bathrooms needs maintenance. Couldn't take a shower. Had to hold the knob at the same time that changes waterflow from tub to shower. Leaking pipes by toilet. No tea or coffee in room.

Visually stunning and deeply peaceful property. The lantern lit lake at night felt magical. The rooms were extremely spacious and the bathrooms looked out on a backyard cave with an additional outdoor shower. Staff were responsive, dependable, caring and available. Our kids fished in the lake with the host’s help and equipment. The breakfasts were simple but delicious with local fruit from the property. We wanted to live there!! Nothing!

The place..the location.. everything..it's more beautiful than the pictures

Low maintenance level of room. Toilet overflowed. Food is obviously from outside. Took over.1 hour yo get pizza and pasta. Breakfast was horrible. Taxis won't come to pick you up... so you have to walk 800m to main road. We rented motorbike in order to overcome this.

This is an outstanding paradise, a real gem. Beautiful mountainous and green surroundings and grounds, a nice pool, many trails to ride or hike, yet not too far from the surrounding towns . They provide free bikes. In general, the service is excellent. Trung runs the place as if it's his own and goes out of his way to give great service. His English is also good, making communication easy.

We stayed at Chinh Thu Garden with our three children at the end of our trip to Vietnam, and it was one of the highlights of our journey. Trung was incredibly welcoming and kind, always making sure we felt at home. The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet still very close to major attractions like Tam Coc and Trang An. Trung went above and beyond to help us, recommending a reliable driver and even arranging our transfer back to the airport. We truly appreciated his generosity and hospitality. Highly recommended for families looking for a calm and authentic stay in Ninh Binh!

The location is just like a movie setm magical. We realize there is nothing different we couldnt experience in the boat tours that just staying in this propert. Surrounded by limestone, lake , Rice field, duck farm. You name it whats in nihn bihn and this location has it. The staff is very cute and supportive. They let us do early checkin. Took care of us. 10 on 10 for this place

A peaceful place in the valley. natural resources and mountains. the food here is so delicious. we were taken care of by the staff enthusiastically. i will come back
