Location a bit tough to get to and food was very traditional, so some dishes may not appeal to all
-
The room is spacious and clean.

Great breakfast buffet. Great dinner as well. I didn't expect a 10-course meal every night, but it was delicious. Lot of local Hokkaido specialty foods - ton of fresh seafood and local cuisine. Only thing was there was 3 set meals and after 5 days I had almost everything twice... Onsen was excellent. The beds! For such a nice place, the beds could have been more comfortable. They were old mattresses and not super comfy. Could have had variation in the meals - also we got charged for asking for extra lemon with dinner lol

Onsen Liked everything

It very cozy and comfortable, and the staff are excellent. They go out of their way to assist with every request. There are limited food options beyond on the fixed menu restaurants included with your stay. The pizza at the cafe on the main floor is average and there is limited options in the shop as well. Plan accordingly for those picky eaters.

The breakfast close at 9, which is a bit too early.

The biggest issue I had was the onsen. They do not limit or manage the amount of day guests in the onsen. It’s packed, especially the outdoor one, and it ends up feeling like a locker room. The day guests are generally loud and do not follow standard onsen behavior. It really takes away from the experience and loses value of staying at this location.

Authentic Japanese style smaller accommodation with lovely hot spring. While there are no complaints, the fact there is a direct walking trail to the Annapuri lifts is a big plus; if the staff had pointed this out to us it would’ve improved our logistics. We uncovered this on our last day via discrete sign on the side of the hallway and further questioning of the staff.
-
Location was super close to the lifts in annapuri (5 min walk, plus there was a free shuttle bus that went back-and-forth). The onsen wonderful, the breakfast were excellent with a good selection of Japanese and American dishes. The dinners were beautifully presented Japanese meals with many courses. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay.

Everything! Incredible atmosphere. Breathtaking snowy views. Super accommodating and kind staff. Not a single detail in the ambiance was missed in preparing for guests to stay here. You won't find an onsen that could compare to the beauty and peace of this one! Very convenient location to Annapuri ski area, it's a super easy traverse to get to the rest of the resorts from Annapuri. The experience is curated beautifully for all to have a lovely stay. I would come back here in a heartbeat ? I wished for soy milk at breakfast.
-
Great location for annupuri and the bus routes. They provided a ride through the heavy snow. Facilities were also very nice. The public bath was also beautiful, especially the outdoors section. Food and stay were quite expensive. The quality was good, but some seafood didn’t feel very fresh.

Absolutely stunningly beautiful traditional-style ryokan hotel with gorgeous indoor/outdoor onsen baths. Just a few minutes' walk from the Niseko-Annupuri ski area (gondola and lifts). Ski locker rooms for skis and boots on the ground floor. Unlimited onsen use. The kaiseki dinners were outstanding, with eleven or twelve courses a night of delicious food that just kept coming. Staff were kind and accommodating and helped with pre-arrival luggage storage, offered discounted lift ticket vouchers for Annupuri, and they even shoveled out and cleaned off the rental cars in the parking lot every night. Our room was enormous, with twin beds in the bedroom area, a sitting area with tatami mats and futons, and a private bathroom. The small details were attended to scrupulously. We loved staying in Annupuri, which felt very low-key and relaxed and was a bit away from the crowds and tourist bustle of Hirafu A truly memorable stay that I'd highly recommend to anyone visiting the Niseko area. Nothing - it was perfect!

We love it here , especially the staff.
-
Staff’s hospitality and their thoughtfulness in preparing great quality food, rooms, yucata ,facial cleansers to shampoos etc. Location is practically ski in and out to Annupuri gondola.

I can’t imagine a better way to experience Niseko skiing. Our room was gorgeous, large, and with a beautiful view. It was modern and super comfortable, but the sliding doors, tatami matt, low chairs, and wood everywhere made it feel uniquely Japanese. Having an onsen in the hotel is awesome after skiing and in general made us really immerse in the Japanese way of life. We were a bit afraid of no shower in the room, but it was no problem at all, and we’re not even that adventurous. Many guests, inckuding us, walked around in the traditional covers provided. The food was amazing. Dinners were delicious, super Japanese, and exquisitely presented. Breakfasts had fantastic variety and super high quality. Some of the desserts were almost life-changing. The staff made us happy every day. Time and time again they would go over and above to make the stay comfortable. At the end of our stay, we left our phone in the lobby and boarded the bus to the airport, and the staff CHASED THE BUS to the nearest town and handed it to us which was just stunning and awesome! I wish we could have stayed longer!

Everything was amazing, we enjoyed the stay 100%. Vet good and clean, amazing onsen too, with the very chill outdoor area.
-
The breakfasts and dinners were great and seemed like traditional Japanese food to us two westerners. The outdoor part of the onsen was particularly nice. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Nothing.
-
Very spacious and private. Maybe a bit far from other things- would be perfect for a ski trip.

My room is on the second floor. So I feel not safe when I open the window.
