The hotel is not very expensive, so it provides a decent value. The room was clean. The staff were nice. The breakfast was not well managed, with very few choices (no pastries available until 10 minutes after arriving, no yogurts, etc). The hotel itself was (as mentioned) clean, but a bit run down.

We changed rooms 3-4 times when we first arrived. The rooms were very old. The showers were broken. It was impossible to take a bath. The soaps were empty. The locks were broken. The bed was bad. The breakfast was not renewed. The room entrance card was broken every day. We wanted to check out half an hour late but they did not allow it.

Due to a "technical" problem they overbooked the hotel. Was sent to another hotel "for the same price " but 30 € more expensive. Not acceptable. The persons at the reception did not speak good french and did not understand me

Comfortable room with air-con. Surrounding area is beautiful - great for walks along the river. Nearby neighborhood is upmarket - plenty of nice cafes to enjoy. Not quite the standard you would expect from ibis, but close to it. Reception service was friendly, but very slow. I would say the location of the hotel in terms of public transport accessibility is the main draw back. Though the location on the river is beautiful, my elderly mother struggled with the 15/20 minute uphill walk to the closest station. Booking.com also promised a kettle, but this was not provided (not great for tea lovers)!
