This is my third or fourth night staying here in a couple of months. Generally it’s fine for the money. Bare bones. Nice beds. Comfortable. But this last time, the TV remote only worked if I was 3 inches away from the TV and the hot water took about 10 minutes to warm up in the evening. It warmed up right away in the morning.

Arrived to a sleeping staff member at check in, room had hair on both bed sheets, a dirty tooth brush left in bathroom, no lock on bathroom door, phone not working to call front desk and no hot water through the night and morning. I’ve never been so unhappy with a stay. This was not by far cheap to stay so not sure what is happening but would not recommend or return to this property

Was it clean and quiet? No. Did it sound like a air compressor was going off all night? Yes. But it was a nice enough room. And it was a safe place to sleep for the night while passing through. Very convenient to alot of shopping and dining. Would stay again. Obviously a very old hotel being held together by tape and calking. But you get what you pay for and ita the cheapest spot in the area.

No breakfast. Only coffee Will never go to an open floor outside entry hotel again as neighbors came each night at 3 am with blaring music, screaming each night and no staff to quiet them!

The location was perfect and it was affordable. There was a very strong odor of cleaning fluids. The walls were cracked. Some of the tiles in the bath room were cracked and just looked disgusting. There was a burn mark on the shower curtain. The furniture was old and dilapidated. The desk chair was rusted. It was just awful!! Thankfully, the bed and sheets appeared to be clean .

I may not have had someone above my first floor room last time but this time I definitely did and the footsteps and other noise did keep me from sleeping to some degree. Maybe the person was just a heavy walker, but it does appear that the ceiling/floor above me was a bit thin. Again, for $115 in Norwalk, I found that acceptable and didn't complain to the manager. The only strange thing that happened the second time I stayed was that there seemed to be no hot water from the bathroom sink. I pushed the faucet to the left and the water was cold after running for 5 minutes. I reported it, then turned on the bath water. That got hot. Then I went back and pushed the faucet all the way to the right and the water eventually got hot. So I guess the feeds are backwards. Even the little blue and red indicator on the faucet showed blue right and red left yet it ended up that cold was left and hot was right. Small issue.

Spacious room Manager was extremely rude on several occasions. And the room was falling apart. There was no lock on the bathroom door. The air vent in the bathroom was hanging open with rusted pieces falling on the floor. The shower leaked water all over the floor.

It was clean, quiet and easy to get to The pillows were flat and firm. Also, it would have been nice to have a coffee maker.

If you want a basic, clean room for a great price relative to other places to stay in Norwalk, Ct. this is the place. If you want luxury, this ain't the place. It's a throw back to the old motels in which all room doors open to the outside. It's only two stories, so you're always exposed to the parking lot, but I didn't hear much noise when I stayed, although I did check in at 10pm and left at 7:45am.
