Santa Cecilia Hotel

the hotel is beautiful, has a courtyard, quiet, clean. the neighborhood is pretty quiet, but still have good restaurant. the room is pretty small

Great location, nice rooftop views

Location is a bit further from the centro but the walk is not long and very pleasant. It’s nice to be a bit out of the crowd. Also the trips were clean and the facilities as well. A very friendly staff. They had coffee ne tea included which was nice if you like a coffee in the morning I don’t really have a critique

It's in a really beautiful section just north of the center and the hotel is truly delightful. I hope the staff was not offended when I firmly asked not to organize my things after I only asked for making the bed and cleaning the bathroom and they still straightened up my things and featured the tip envelope in front of them. I noticed after I asked that the next day they did not make my bed. Maybe there was no association, and I love the place and hope to come back.

The shower water flow was really low. I did not have proper shower for 3 days

Staff is helpful and available breakfast chef is great.

The staff is very responsive and the hotel has its charm, very clean, love the birds chirping in the mornings. Nothing to mention on this issue. Everyting was fine.

The entire staff was very kind. Someone was always at the front desk, and were always very helpful with whatever assistance we needed. Sometimes the hot water wasn’t consistent, so often just took cold showers to save time

This is a nice hotel with nice staff and great location but it is extremely loud.

I loved the location, in a quieter neighborhood (Xochimilco) with many great restaurants nearby, as well as a convenience store. The walk into centro was about 1 mile depending on where you were going, and it was a lovely walk with many murals, aqueduct remnants, and very interesting buildings. Much of it can be on quiet streets. The neighborhood and walk to centro are both very safe. Staff is extremely accommodating. I was happy to have a courtyard room to avoid traffic noise. I wish the bar was open and attended every evening, I would like to have socialized there. The room is fairly small, but it does match the price. I would hear a lot of hallway noise in my room, as well as something blowing around on the roof at night. The mattress could have been more comfortable, but it is standard for much of Latin America. If I was less than 60 years old it would not have been a problem.

Very welcoming and friendly staff , lovely environment and nicely decorated. We were grateful for the water station on each floor. Delicious breakfast on the roof Water pressure was a bit low in our room

One of the nicest Hotels we have stayed in for something. Clean, darling decor and most comfortable. We travel for months at a time and periodically stay in this class of hotel. Super friendly staff that go out of the way to help. The chef on the top terrace makes a superb hamburger. A lovely late night surprise . Everyone in the front is terrific. Despite some construction in the facility the staff was eager to assist with every need. Owner’s take note of your fantastic staff and managers!!!!!!! You are lucky. The poor dog that was locked on the roof next door to the hotel.

Staff were SO friendly and helpful. Super clean room and very comfortable bed. Loved everything. It’s a small walk to the centre so coming back at night felt a little long especially walking alone but really it didn’t take long at all. Wouldn’t have changed my stay!
