The Hotel Oceanside

The property had the basic room needs. There was no hand soap provided and the Air-conditioning unit was broken. No cold air came out. Only room temperature air available so we cracked a window all night.

Clean, quiet, friendly staff, walking distance to pier and harbor, restaurants, beach. Good price for same day reservation. I didn't bring a car close to Iceanside public transit hub.

A/C didn’t work. No help was provided. Rude front desk staff.

The location of this property was awesome. You can’t beat this price for how close you are to the beach. The rooms were nice and big. It was a little inconvenient not being able to use any of the doors except for the front door. The is no air conditioning in the lobby or hallways and when we got there it wasn’t on in our rooms so it took a bit to cool down. Our air conditioner was broken in one of our rooms but the staff was able to switch rooms for us. We also found a shirt in one of our rooms from a previous guest which made us question the cleanliness a little bit.

(Only improvement would be replacing the bathroom fan to something stronger - with the So Cal humidity, the bathroom was a bit challenging).

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff wasn’t real flint, friendly.

We were in room 315 and it was like a mini timeshare. It was a nice room, with lots of space. It was also very clean. Close to the main area of Oceanside. We would stay here again.

The room had ants and the toilet has a weird device in the tank so can only use the toilet every 3-4 mins because it takes that long for the water to fill up the tank again. They think it's saves them water, but it's frustrating if two or more people have to use the rest room back to back. This was our first time staying here and it will be our last.

Superb

The hotel lobby is old and in need of renovations. The rooms were better, but they weren't very clean and I had to request that the toilet seat be fixed when I arrived because it was broken and there wasn't any soap in the shower. The television has hundreds of channels, but you can only access to a few. The hotel does have a washer and dryer on both floors and I loved it. We normally stay at the best western next door, but it was booked so we tried this one. We won't be staying here again.

It’s listed that it provides breakfast but it only had granola bars and bananas. Sort of misleading.

There is no breakfast except grab and go...and not much coffee. Maybe I misinterpreted this place but it was a bit of a disappointment. I did feel safe tho and I could walk to starbucks and the pier. Sorry to complain!
