The room design was beautiful and modern. Keep in mind it’s Japanese lodging so simple, highly functional and practical. Loved the bathroom with large tub by the window. Location was about 15-20minutes to Nago, aquarium and other attractions. 10minutes walk to Gorilla Chop and across the street from a lawsons. Parking was ample and it was located next to a dive shop which was nice. Water hose was available to wash sand off in the parking lot which was nice and free laundry (with paid dryers). It doesn’t offer daily cleaning which we don’t need but an every other day clean would have been nice. It had some odd rules but we managed. Office was only open from 3-7 which was also a bit limiting.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Inside the room there was a large picture window with a view of the harborband Sesoko Island. Staff tried to accommodate requests. The Okinawa Beer Garden restaurant next door was a pleasant bonus. Lawsons is across the street. Sesoko Island is a 3 minute drive away and the aquarium was about a 15 minute drive. Marea "Resort" is not a "resort" by any stretch of the imagination. It's a motel and initially presented itself poorly. The room was stale and had a terrible odor. Note the staff is only on the property from 9am-5pm and there was "no cleaning service during your stay."

Lawson across the road was perfect. The room itself was very nice. Lovely bath and I loved the tatami area near the window looking out over the water. Nothing flashy otherwise, but great value for money. In the middle of nowhere - you don't want to stay here if you want to walk around the local area, as there isn't much to see here.

Good ocean views, nice bathroom! I went to a different location using the phone no. of the hotel on the car GPS. Then I used the map code but it was wrong again. Finally, I used the address on Google map to bring me to the hotel correctly. But it took me extra time and effort..

We liked the bathtub! The wonderful view, and the room was clean. We could hear people if they were too loud in other rooms through the walls
