Marcan Resort Hotel

At the end of season, on the last week of our stay variety of food choices get poorer and poorer.

Location is good, rooms are fine. Everyday cleaning. Food was OK. Overall it was a nice and pleasant stay. During my entire stay we had hot water only once. Not sure what the problem was as I had different answers from the hotel staff. Also the policy about visitors was a bit weird as my friends stayed in other hotels and had no problem for us to visit them while they were not allowed to enter this hotel.

food was good- lots of healthy choices and snack bar is good if you have munchies. cleaners in rooms very friendly and rooms got cleaned regularly. lots of towel art. Staff friendly. was tired- peeling wallpaper in rooms, mould in pool slats, dirty white chairs on balcony. had loud music from both the pool bar and the entertainment meaning you could hear both at once - a bit of a mess in that regard- not comfortable listening at times

Very happy with our stay, stayed for 5 days during the summer holidays with a 5 and 11 year old as a single parent. staff are polite in dining area and reception. the bar staff didn't really understand english and didn't seem to want to be there. Need more seating during evening entertainment as some nights couldn't join in. Food in dining hall was lovely each meal time- food at snack bar made fresh on request. all free drinks are local drinks, any other are chargeable. bottles of water each day in the rooms, air cons in rooms working and room was cleaned and stocked each day with toilet roll and clean towels. any requests with reception had been sorted. we would return again children loved their time here with pool and slides very small walk to beach, bars and shops.

Lovely pool area with no rush for sunbeds. Being a fussy eater myself I always found a good choice with food. Very little hot water for shower . 3 nights out of 11 we managed to get a luke warm shower the rest were very cold.

Clean and spacious rooms. Amazing food, great variety for every taste, very delicious and high quality products. There's a lot of vegetarian options. Playground for children is tiny

The location and guests when moved room our cleaner was amazing ? The pool has cracked tiles so cutting everyone’s feet, pool toilets lacked cleanliness and tissue, cleaners did not clean room for 5 days, fridge didn’t work, entertainment was same thing on a weekly basis which is not good on a 2 week holiday. All inclusive ends at 11 and stays open until 2 but 1 brandy £10. Kids slides only open from 11-12 and 4 to 5 that’s when they remember to turn them on but always remember to turn them off on time. Management refuse to come and speak to you when you have an issue even though they speak very good English and the staff don’t. No minibar and manager promised one but never came! Fridge did not work

The room is nice, clean, everything worked properly. From our window there was a great view of the mountain and the pool, it was nice to spend time. The food is delicious, there is always something to eat. The bar is working great; staff works non-stop, friendly. The pool is very nice, have a nice time. There are not enough umbrellas by the pool. If you play water polo, put on aqua shoes, you can hurt your feet.

The location was great. The pool was lovely and there was never really a fight for sun loungers in the morning. We were happy with what we paid for the services we received. The hotel was generally clean and our room was kept clean. The food on the whole was nice. The snack bar was a great addition. Some of the staff were miserable, rude in fact. The alcohol was massively watered down and there did not seem to be enough staff to accommodate. There wasn’t much entertainment. There wasn’t always enough seats at lunch and dinner. We struggled to get a sheet for the bed. There was only a fluffy blanket which was too hot, or a thin sheet which wasn’t big enough for us both.

The location was just 15 minutes walk to the beach. We had a comfortable stay here. Rooms and resorts are clean and the staff is supportive. we found parking just outside the resort street. The service from the pool bar was good. The dinner time is from 7pm to 9pm only, and they close everything by 9 pm including fans and lights. We didn't find the food as very tasty, though many options are available.

Nice hotel, location and facilities are amazing, food is good, workers are nice and polite, we liked everything. Rooms are provided with everything you need.

We have just returned from the Marcan Resort Hotel. We stayed at this beautiful hotel for 8 nights, we are a family of 6. Our rooms were lovely and food was delicious. When we travel to another country we want to try their cuisine, not English food, and that is what we got. So many different dishes to try and the desserts were amazing! They do chips and chicken nuggets, and at the snack bar, you can get burger and chips and pizza. Rooms were cleaned daily, the cleaners work so hard. The on site Spa was amazing. I had a full body massage, which was the best I'd ever had. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. The manager was very friendly and anything we requested was dealt with, nothing was too much trouble. The pool was perfect, and my son loved the slides, they were so much fun! Would we go back? yes, absolutely! There was nothing we could fault about this hotel, delicious food, clean good sized rooms, friendly hard working staff, 2 mins walk to the top of the strip where you will find lots of amazing shops, bars and restaurants.

Very good hotel. Rooms were clean, beds were cozy, food was tasty . U can use sauna , it iwas a big plus for me. Wifi works very well. I enjoyed staying there

Recently refurbished,clean,nice pool,good standard of food and great staff. Nothing really.

Great location, clean, and great staff are the strongest points of this hotel. We regret we booked only 3 nights, probably one day we will come back. Good food, we couldnt complain. For me its the best ratio for what you pay and what you get. Definetely recommend. Islamic church is close and it wakes you up every morning I dont know if was 5am or 6am. Its not the hotel fault but worth to mention not to be surprised.
