Aloft by Marriott Omaha Aksarben Village

We loved it, 2nd time staying here and it is probably one of our favorite hotels. Neat aesthetic all around. The shampoo and cleaning products smelled amazing. Only issue I had was that we were out of conditioner. But we will probably always make an effort to stay at this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful, hotel was clean, room was clean and Bug-Free. We recommend this hotel to everyone. 5⭐

Free parking Toilet is way too low to the floor! Seriously, and as an elderly person I found that such a low position for using it absolutely uncomfortable. At least install a bar next to it so a person can manage to stand back up with at least a bit of dignity. That one thing about my room pretty much ruined my stay at Aloft.

Great Stay !!!

Very good location to Aksarben Village for food/shopping etc. I walked it in 8 min. Parking is free and easily accessible. Beds are a big one for me and they are great! Only thing was the toilet seat was loose/broken. Short stay so didn't bother me. Would stay again

Friendly employees and clean room.

No wifi, so that means no tv. The hallways smelled like gas even though the receptionist said they dont have dont use gas in that hotel. Smell really strong. The pool was closed due to maintenance..

I checked in for a reservation on 2 separate days. Both days the WiFi was not working. The TV would buffer for a long time and not lock onto a channel. The room rugs were dirty and in one room there was a tremendous amount of pet hair on the couch. Both times I requested new rooms based on cleanliness and also smart refrigerator not working. There was also no pool on the first time I checked in due to cleaning. The front desk clerk told me that I could go to another hotel but Expedia won’t issue a refund. Would never recommend this hotel.

We went to check in at about 8 and was informed that the pool was closed and the internet was not working. We could cancel without a charge and find another hotel if we wanted to. It would have been very helpful if we would have gotten an email well before check in that this was an issue. Also, the breakfast was only part warm. The experience was a little expensive for what we had. If the cost had been reduced, we would have appreciated that also.

Clean room & enjoyed my stay

I liked the room layout and the lobby. Very modern First off there WiFi was “spotty” the whole stay. Looking at reviews, this has been going on for a month now. To make it up they gave us free breakfast which wasn’t anything nice. The room looked dirty, stains on the carpet and stains on the bed spread.

Perfect location and great staffing. Half of my room didn't have power (the TV and some outlets). Because of the issue with the room, they changed my room to a king-size room, even though my reservation was for two queen-size beds. The hotel provided an air mattress because there were no rooms with two queen-size beds available the next day. Since the streaming service wasn't working, they offered us free breakfast. The breakfast was okay!

Clean and good location The ice machine was broken, the WiFi and streaming services were unavailable, and the breakfast did not look appetizing at all. The cleaning crew did not make it to our floor until 2-3p, we had been out all morning and it would’ve been nice to have had the room cleaned before we returned after lunch.

Staff was wonderful! Everything was great! The only downfall was the kids running and yelling in the halls late at night and early in the morning! That’s all.

Easy to get to and only 18 minutes from the amazing downtown area. Staff was fantastic and the rooms were like other ALofts I have stayed in. However the rooms are a bit tired with stained rugs and lots of nicks and dents. The gym was a win. All around a good stay.

I have always enjoyed staying at Alofts, but this one was disappointing… the room was not clean. Several dark long hairs were found in the bed (I’m blonde :P). We also stayed for 2 nights and did not receive housekeeping services or extra towels. The pool was closed for “maintenance” all weekend, despite it being over 90 degrees and the perfect weekend for a swim. Overall, this location just felt more rundown than typical Alofts. We definitely won’t be back to this location.
