Rodeway Inn Ontario Airport Mills

I booked through Expedia and contacted Expedia directly before arrival to inform them that we would be checking in late. The hotel acknowledged the late arrival and indicated that our room would be held. When we arrived, we were informed that our room had been resold. We then spent more than an hour trying to resolve the issue with the front desk. Unfortunately, the staff member assisting us was rude, condescending, and unwilling to take responsibility for what happened. The situation became even more upsetting when the hotel suggested placing us in a smoking room despite being told several times that my son has asthma. Offering a smoking room after being informed of a child’s respiratory condition showed a complete lack of concern for our family’s well-being. The hotel ultimately refused to refund the money for the room they failed to provide. We were left stressed, frustrated, and forced to deal with a problem that should never have happened in the first place. A confirmed reservation should be honored, especially when the hotel has been notified in advance of a late arrival. This experience reflected very poorly on the property’s management and customer service.

There were holes in the bedspread and shower curtain. All the surfaces were dirty (tables, walls, sink, headboard, bathtub) and had to be wiped down with cleanser and Lysol wipes. The refrigerator did not get cold. They argued with me to get 2 sets of towels when the reservation was for 2 people claiming the face towel and hand towel was enough. I had to argue to get more than a half roll of toilet tissue that was left In the room. There was no ash tray even though it was a smoking room.

I then took the towels to the front desk and requested a new set. Unfortunately, the front desk associate responded in an aggressive manner and stated that the towels looked like I had already used them. I explained that these were the towels housekeeping had given to me as "clean" towels. This experience was both disappointing and unacceptable. I have attached a photo of the towels that were provided to me as clean.

Could not connect to Wi-Fi.

Rats on the property and in the room. when we requested to be moved to a different room, the staff were abrasive and would not help. Checked out early and booked a different hotel. never again

The bathroom door didn't shut right so when you take a hot to warm shower all the steam comes out to the room and fire alarm starts going off.

I didn't even get past the checking in part. I booked the room because I was exhausted after work and I felt like I was starting to dose off while driving home, I tried calling 3 times before I drove over there to confirm my reservation but the phone was busy so I just drove over there. I got there around 1130 pm or 1230am I can't remember because I was very tired, and from the very start of the encounter the young lady was very rude to me, which made me start crying in front of her because I was exhausted and in disbelief of how rude she was being to me while she was completely denying to my face that she was being rude to me, I asked her the managers name and she told me no and on top of that she locked my card in some type of drawer or cabinet behind the desk which felt weird to me and I had to ask her to please give me my card back, so while in tears, complete exhausted I ask her to cancel my reservation and give me a print of her doing so, then I told her she needed Jesus and I pray that whatever she is dealing with I hope her night would go better, and I drove back over by the Ontario mill mall cried called my kids, told them where I was and slept overnight in my car. Hands down one of the worst experiences I've had.....

The bed was fairly comfortable. Climate control was adequate. TV did not work. Train tracks are very close with frequent trains passing by loudly.

They have the worse customer service!! There not even professional at all !! The don’t even bother to hear you out with your complaints. Their rooms are filthy, dirty.

Could be cleaned better

Refused to let me stay there due to my vehicle only Hotel I've ever seen and or heard of that does not let you park on site nor is there parking around anywhere the staff was extremely rude and had no supervisor to speak to or had on site or was willing to call them when Expedia tried calling them to get me a refund they refuse to answer

You get what you pay for

Room was in bad shape. Dirty, smelly, noisey and bathroom falling apart. I would ask for a full refund but they did not want to help. Worst room I have ever had.

Check in was after 3pm. My partner and I arrived to the hotel at 5pm due to traffic.When we arrived the hotel they had no rooms available that were cleaned. The hotel host was very rude and told us we had to wait an hour for a room to be cleaned and provided to us. We ended up waiting over an hour and didn't get a room until almost 6:30pm which is ridiculous. I'm not sure what's the point of having guests check out at 11am if the rooms are not going to be ready and cleaned for the next guests to check in at 3pm. Let me just say it gets worse..The first room we were provided was more than dirty, it looked like it was under construction. That room needed to be more than just cleaned. The second room that was "clean" was also terrible. The a/c did not work, the walls were dirty, the restroom door was broken, pillow cases had stains, there were bugs and roaches in the room...DISGUSTING!!! I would not recommend anyone staying here.
