The hotel is very run down compared to what it was several years ago when I visited. Old furniture; one elevator out of order the entire 6 nights I was there. When we checked in, a worker was killing a roach in the lobby, which was a sign of things to come, as I found a roach in my bed a couple days later. I complained to the front desk, and while they didn’t bother to apologize, she did put us in a new room and she pushed a few buttons on the computer and told me she had comped my parking fees, given us free breakfast, and sent maintenance up to spray the new room - except none of that ever happened. When I went to check out there was no parking/food credit on my bill, and there was no way maintenance had time to go in and spray the new room before we moved our stuff in as it was just around the corner. I ended up buying roach spray and spraying the entire room myself just to have the nerve to get in bed. A very poor experience when you spend valuable PTO time and money to go on vacation.

It was really pretty and close to the beach! It’s a smaller hotel but it was nice and the pool was amazing. There are a few things very small things like they don’t have enough towels but you can call and ask for more. Overall it was nice.

    Great service and friendly staff

Pool was amazing even though the staff wouldn’t make people not let there pets in the pool. Only one elevator working and they shut the water off for an unknown time. Asked for wash cloths took an hour to receive really had given up by the time they brought they after 9pm. A lot of dings and stuff on the walls made it look ran down

They only have one functioning elevator. After staying a day we found a note stating the water was being turned off in the morning for maintenance until with no expectation on when the water would be restored, and housekeeping left my hotel room propped open for who knows how long. I will not be back.

The lazy river and beach view was great.

The staff were very helpful and super nice. The lazy river and beach access was a huge win for our family trip. Definitely will book every year for a summer vacation!

I did not like anything about the property

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The property is clean and has a great pool and beach access. But one of the 2 elevators was broken, the internet didn’t work the whole time and the pool bar needed more help.

An affordable beachfront hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again for sure.

the room was decent and the water pressure was great. You had plenty of hot water. The carpet in the rooms needed replaced and there was always sand in it. Probably not a good idea to have carpet considering we were on the beach. we liked the lazy river pool. They had a taco Tuesday which was good. However....the 2 bartenders at the. Pool side bar on the night were not very good. I ordered my drink and food and got it right away. My friend ordered her drink and food and after 15 mins she had to go up and ask about her drink she never got andcthen waited another 15 mins to even get her food. They were not busy at all. Another guest came to the bar and waited 20 mins to be waited on and neither one helped him so he finally left. Im not sure what was up with cell service but even with the wifi you were lucky if you could recieve calls or texts on your phone unless you were away from the hotel. Im not sure I would stay again.

Carpet in room was wet and slimy, humidity was so strong water collected on the walls. Room initially smelled so strongly of bleach and chemicals it took hours to air out. Broken elevator so waiting on the 1 working one took forever, broken ice machine on our floor. No free breakfast, paid the $15 per person for a poor quality buffet. In house grill had minimal options not a full dining experience. Staff was friendly and as helpful as they could Be. Mold in the bath and shower.

One of two elevators was out of service all 4 days I was there because a part had to be ordered. Repair parts should always be on hand for quick repairs. Pillows are terrible!!! Flat as pancakes.

We booked in February for a room with 2 queens for my son’s baseball tournament in June. I requested the cheaper room with less of a view to save money. When we checked in we went up to see the room before bringing our things and discovered the room she gave us had a king sized bed. Our family of four with two teenagers can not sleep in one bed. The hotel was fully booked (and one elevator was broken). The lady at the desk called around to sister hotels to find a room and try to price match. In Orange Beach June, in the middle of several baseball World Series events, hotels are booked and prices are much higher than when I booked. She had already charged for the night and no manager was available to refund the charge until the next day. She found us a hotel still on the beach but they could only price match part of the stay. Thankfully we enjoyed the new hotel but had to pay over $400 extra when it was not our mistake.

One of the elevators was out, and had been for while, apparently. It was a common sight for there to be a line of people waiting for the one remaining elevator. So we used the stairs 95% of the time, as it was much faster. Also we reserved a room with a sofa bed months ago, yet when we checked in, there wasn’t one of those available nor an upgrade to a larger room. When we booked the place, for 5 nights, breakfast was an extra $500. Seems steep? The room and bathroom were small, and the bedside table was tiny. Our room door was 6 inches from the fire door to the stairs, so we heard the fire door slamming at all hours. The icemaker on our floor was non functional. The side entrance that was supposed to be locked was never actually locked. This facility is old and outdated and not well maintained.

I would have preferred a heated pool and not looking at that may have changed my mind about booking this property.

Elevator was broke, ice machine on our floor was broke. Sorry, stayed at nicer places for less money.
