Friendly host who went out of her way to get us some pizza's as there was nowhere else to eat. Comfortable and quiet. Couldn't pay by credit card, only cash or bank transfer.

Lovely bedroom and bathroom, and a very kind host who arranged a takeaway pizza for my dinner as restaurants were closed. Just for those walking Via Francigena, it’s to far to walk to. I organised a taxi from Altopascio and then back again in the morning which added 30 euro to my stay.

We had a pleasant stay at La Ginestra. Quiet location with a lot of nature around. Kind owners and delicious breakfast. Parking in front of the house.

simple, large and clean room. nice lady owner, very welcoming. rich breakfast. recommend trattoria was great, though a reservation might be useful on a Saturday evening, we barely found a table for a quick meal for me and my daughter no phone signal hence no wifi working. the googlemaps would bear you in front of the house, so you have to look for the wooden sign La Ginestra in the grove along the road which brings you in the parking lot and the guests main entrance

We were walking the Via Francigena and arrived hot and weary from walking in the blistering heat. Our host kindly let us check in earlier so we could freshen up and relax. Also the following morning she had packed a takeaway breakfast for us, as we left at 6am in order to avoid walking in the worst of the heat. Absolutely nothing. Was perfect to collapse onto our beds to relax.

Private parking in the yard behind the house (the guests cannot enter directly from Via Ponticelli, but following an unpaved road through the forest). A delicious dinner can be taken at Vito Re della Pizza, 3 km to the town)

Absolutely great service, warm welcoming. Rooms are clean and large. We came later and hungry, the owner was very kind and managed to organise a perfect local pasta dinner for us.
