Club Hotel Marina Beach

At check-in, the reception clearly told us that we could enjoy free water and wine all day as part of our half-board package. However, the service we received fell far short of that promise. In the café, one waiter initially gave us free water but completely misunderstood our coffee order — he brought espresso instead of Americano. When we politely pointed out the mistake and asked for the correct drinks, he charged us for three coffees. That same morning at check-in, we had already added credit to our room card specifically for two coffees and two teas. In the afternoon, when we went to get our teas, we were told we could only have one. The staff insisted that the only way to get the second tea was to go back to reception and top up the card again. Thankfully, the manager eventually understood the error made by the previous waiter and provided the two teas. However, we were still denied the free water we had been promised. We paid for half board and were explicitly assured at check-in that water and wine would be available for free throughout the day. Given that it was Easter with very few guests in the hotel, this ungenerous and inconsistent service was particularly disappointing.

Pool area and beach are nice. Hotel is very clean.

The hotel grounds were nicely maintained, a lot of flowers and pleasant lawns. We had a very nice view from our room. The hotel staff were kind and helpful. Almost everyone was able to speak English. The pool was quite big. Many different activities like volley and yoga. Food was ok, but we got tired from the same dishes everyday and cappuccino from the coffee machine wouldn't be acceptable for any Italian:). Cleaning in the room was great and room itself was in good condition! Difference between check-in (10:00) and check-out (16:00) is too big in my opinion. Breakfast ends too early and we had to wait every time until a waiter finds a table for us. Beach is closed after 20:30, although you can enter the beach from the main road outside the hotel. Guards at the beach and pool were too strict. Path to the city and closest grocery shop takes around 30 minutes. For the reference we paid 240 eur/night per room. And here is the list of things that we had to pay extra for: tennis rackets, beach towels, wheel-train to the city. And also we had to pay for DRINKING WATER. I have never encountered this in hotels intended for beach holidays. They even put a sign not to fill bottles during breakfast.

I did not like at all the breacfast... I never found a table to eat normaly, even thought all the table were free...it was very embarased. I had an debate with one of the staf there, because while we were eating, somebody else look for our table and the menager started shoutied to us in front of people were there. It was un polite by him and also we had a trauma about that. The organization and managment of restorant was terible. The restorant served only corosans made before 2 or 3 days , biscuits were every where, nothing else. To look for a fried egg you had to wait in row for half hour.

Great beach access to private beach. A wonderful experience. we had to switch rooms because the AC was out in our room. The staff made that happen right away.

the location and approximately to the beach A lot of the complex facilities were shut or not usable when this was not advertised during booking. The kids club was closed. The playground was dangerous with most of the equipment being broken or rusted. The breakfast was bleak, no options and limited time available to eat. You have to pay a deposit for beach towels plus a charge per day that you use them. The staff were very unfriendly. I'd never stay here again or recommend this place to others. This place is not setup at all for families with small children - avoid!!

pool fabulas/beach was amazing ,very close to hotel, breakfast had everything coffee ,tea facilaties in room would be great

Overall clean Staff not very kind and didnt give all the information, for example that we had to top up the card in order to by buy drinks at the beach bar; we found out at the bar, asked us to go back to the reception (1 km walk at least…). Check out was at 10 and at 9:50 someone already came into the room rishing for cleaning. Terrible brekfast. No towels provided at the beach… Terrible experience, We Will not book again!

Nice big swimming pool, access to the beach, big car park, nice garden. Food is terrible.

Everything was OK, the pool area is huge. Steer clear of the terrible breakfast.

Great swimming pools, quite good quality of food on lunch and dinners , very beautiful territory, big parking The same and quite poor breakfast every day without different variety , animation wasn’t oriented on the non-Italian speaking guests, no possibility to take iron in the room like in all other hotels , you need to pay for the service

The swimming pool That half of the services weren’t available during our stay. For a property of this size to not have a Porter to assist with luggage, for there to be no food available during the day, no pool bar open, no working phone in the room to be able to call Reception and intermittent wi-fi (if at all!) is just not acceptable. The dining room is noisy, cavernous space with clinical lighting and the buffet selection was truly average. Beware they also have a tricky ‘money card’ system where you put money onto a hotel card and tap that for services (not meals) - pool towels, drinks at the inside bar, beach lounges, etc. Meals you pay for separately, upfront at Reception and receive a card to hand to wait staff in the dining room! ??‍♀️??‍♀️We found this out the hard way. Very limited English spoken at this hotel too.
