From staying late to greet me, to offering recommendations for restaurants, to looking after me so generously at breakfast, and more. This is an old hotel, with an awesome location close to the Duomo, and all other attractions. If you're expecting a 5* hotel with a concierge, this is not it. But if you're looking for well priced, good people... thoroughly recommended...

Good location to walk around. It was clean. Bed comfortable. Breakfast ok. No air conditioning. Loud street noise when window open, which was the only way to keep the room cool.

Great linens.

From the very start the manager was very nice and exceptionally helpful. He also made one of, if not the best, cappuccino I have ever had. Its proximity to Centro was a nice perk.

Spacious, comfortable, and clean. Great location.

The location of the Hotel is close to the most important attraction Duomo and very close to the centre of Orvieto. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms are ok, considering it is an old building. The bathroom could have been a bit spacious. The elevator is a little above the ground level making dragging heavy luggages to it a bit of a bother.

Loved the location, really center to the city. Had a lot of charm in the hotel. They could definitely charge more and we would still go back. Really enjoyed the stay

The staff was very helpful. The hotel is attractive. It makes a nice impression. Breakfast was sparse but good, in a nice room. Location excellent. Very good value. And, if course, it is in Orvieto, one of our favorite places (we have been there a dozen times, it never gets old!) Simply, we would not hesitate to stay at the Posta in the future. There was no mosquito screen at window, which we would have preferred to leave open at night for cooling.

Location and staff Rooms were damp and chilly. Very sparse.

Staff was Great

It is located right in the middle of old town and near the historic church. The breakfast was all sugary items. Not great for a diabetic.

The location made it easy to get to everything we wanted to do and see. The owner and his people were lovely - very hard working and made our stay very pleasant.
-
Good location close to attractions, clean, friendly staff, reasonably priced for the area, let us store our bags for the afternoon after checkout at no charge No complaints, we liked the hotel

The windows were good and after closing them they blocked most noise. They let us work on the premise for one hour after checking out from the room. The staff member was a bit grumpy and admittedly not too happy about doing his job. But in the end, he delivered well on everything. The bed was not comfortable. It got hot without the AC even though the temperature at night went down (I guess it was because the walls accumulated heat throughout the day). We left the windows open as the table fan was noisy and not doing much. But even though it was a back street, it got noisy at night with people talking (and strong echo effect). Lots of mosquitoes, we got stung by lots of them, quite terrible. The wifi was decent in the room, but non-existent downstairs (which makes it difficult because the data reception is bad on the streets of the old town).
