Location is literally next to the whale shark watching area, it is perfect for those who want convenience. Don't expect too much from the room though since you are paying mostly for the proximity. They have a guide who can help you line up and you can go back to sleep after getting the numbers, then he will fetch you again when it's time for you to ride the boat. We only stayed for one night just for the whale sharks and tumalog falls then moved to another place.

We came to relax and see the whale shark. The whalesharks are 50’ away from this resort. We are so happy we don't drive far.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at HOSHI VILLAS, the owner were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. and the location was perfect – close to everything but quiet at night. A scooter to rent. We truly appreciated the little touches, like the thoughtful toiletries and the bath tub. We can't wait to come back!

Location: Very good — just next to the Whale Shark viewing point, super convenient! Facilities: Overall great value for money. Room is clean and comfortable. The only limitation is that there’s no hair dryer provided. Staff: The owner and staff are super friendly! They helped us arrange our Oslob tour as well, which made everything so easy. Really appreciate their warm hospitality! No hair dryer provided, and you can hear some vehicle noise from the road.

My always go to accommodation whenever I visit Oslob for whale watching. they have the most low-key place, but the most warm staffs I have ever experienced. none.

The place is amazing — beautiful beachfront and amazing nice front yard. It’s super close to where you go for the whale shark watching, basically just next door. The staff were all really friendly — shoutout to Erica, Mary, and Dexter who were all super helpful! They gave me tips on things to do and helped me get around the area. I had such a great stay, I even ended up extending for another night. There’s no Wi-Fi in the room, but honestly, that wasn’t a big deal — I was looking to unplug anyway.

Probably the closest accommodations to the Whale Shark Watching activities which was so convenient. I didn’t have to sit in a van ride for 4-5 hours. Dexter picked me up from my room to check in at 5am and I went back to my room while it started to pour rain and at 6am, Dexter picked me up and took me back and got me situated with my Whale Shark tour. So easy and so convenient. Dexter was awesome and he made sure I was all set. He waited for me to finish the tour and he escorted me back to Aloha Resort literally a 5 minute walk away. Also, they are really good at responding on Booking.com. I also ordered breakfast and at 8am it was ready and Dexter set up a table for me with an unobstructed view of the water and all the boats and people that were out for the whale shark activity. The room is a no frills room but I can’t say that I didn’t like it. I knew what I was booking and the price was great and I was there mainly for convenience for the whale shark activity. I had a comfortable bed, a working air conditioner and running water. I’d say the only thing that could’ve been better was hot water, but it wasn’t that big of a deal.

Poor Wifi, No Fridge

Great location for whaleshark viewing (almost next door). Nice coral beach. Beautiful lawn before the beach. Very nice and helpful staff who through connections got us on a whalewatching boat despite getting a high number at 6 am. Hotel staff helpedarrange diving and scooter rentals. The rooms were almost directly below the road which was pretty loud and the ground shook when big trucks went by. Sleeping with air conditioning and ear plugs helped. The double bed was very small, clearly designed for shorter, smaller people and not westerners.

Our aircondition was not that cold even if it was already on high. They need to have a thicker blanket for the beds. Good thing my parents and grand parent brought their own little thick blanket just incase.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent, just next to the whale sharks watching point. The property clean and well organized. Staff was very friendly and helpful, help us to get a guide for whale sharks watching, as well as taxi to Cebu at reasonable price.

Fab location for the whales

Tours arrangements. No refrigerator, traffic noise at night, no wifi in the room and only Filipino breakfast options.

We booked at Aloha because it’s literally next door to the whale shark swimming place. The woman who owns and runs the hotel is super nice and helpful. She came by in the morning and asked for breakfast orders and then brings you breakfast. Beds were fine, air conditioning was amazing. Our shower was pretty weak and didn’t have any hot water, but the other rooms didn’t have that issue.

Very short walking distance from swimming with the whalesharks. Able to take a shower immediately after. Very clean. The room smells like moth balls and chemicals used to kill cockroaches. The room is spacious but not hardly any counter to put stuff. A small table and 2 chairs could have fit. No outlet near the bed so my husband was not able to use his CPAP. Only one outlet up on the wall where the TV is plugged. For a price of P3,700 per night, a complementary water would have been nice. At night, you can hear those big trucks on the road. Very small parking space. There are better and much cheaper accommodations around the area. Unfortunately, they are not listed in booking.com and Expedia.
