Some of the staff were friendly and welcoming and some weren’t. My room vent was covered in thick dust causing me to have allergies my whole stay.

The only complaint we had was outside lights shined through all night in our room and the blinds didn’t block it out.

This was a lot better stay from last time I stayed. Had hot water, lights worked and didn’t have to have my room changed. As always the staff were super nice.

Everyone was friendly, food was great, the cook was nice. The blinds on the glass windows are ok but dark curtains would be better. T

We were overall pleased with our weekend stay at the Casey Key Resort Mainland location, especially for the cost and the amenities included. The free shuttle to their private beach and resort area was a great perk. It made getting to the beach simple, and it’s only about 100 yards from Nokomis Beach if you want to explore without worrying about parking or transportation. The downside of our stay was the dining experience. We chose to have dinner at the resort and were disappointed with both the taste and quality. The $38 crusted triple tail was nearly inedible, and the Caesar salad was soaked in dressing. We decided to give Sunday brunch a try the next morning, but I found a piece of metal in my French toast. The chef apologized sincerely and offered a free orange juice, which I appreciated, but it didn’t fully make up for the issue. We were also charged for a mimosa even though the menu clearly stated they were complimentary with a breakfast entrée. Additionally, the resort advertises a complimentary coffee station, but it didn’t exist. When I asked for a coffee at checkout, we were charged $5 for a small plain black coffee. The resort itself has great potential and offers solid value for the room, amenities, and beach access. We would consider returning for the amenities and beach access However, the dining experience needs significant improvement to match the quality of the rest of the stay.

Nicole at the front desk was very helpful. I can’t remember the two women bartenders outside by the pool, but they were super friendly and made us feel very warm and welcome. We had a great time. We will definitely return. This is a great property, especially for the money you won’t regret it.
