Masseria Cervarolo
About Masseria Cervarolo
Masseria Cervarolo provides unique accommodations in both the main building and in characteristic Apulian trulli, stone buildings of the 16th century. The farm offers free parking and free WiFi, and is on a hill 4.3 mi from Ostuni. The Masseria's grounds include an outdoor swimming pool and an ancient chapel. All rooms at the Cervarolo are uniquely furnished with antique and hand-made furniture, and equipped with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Some are located in the trulli. Masseria Cervarolo is just off the SP14 road, between Ostuni and Martina Franca. The nearest beach is 9.9 mi away. License Number(s): 074012A100073729

This is really a wonderful relaxation spot in the Puglia region. We were just going through for a couple of nights but could have stayed for a number of days. The staff is very hospitable and does a lot to make you feel welcome and have a great experience. We did the on-site dinner which was amazing, and also did a wine-tasting experience that was like having a private sommelier talk to you about Apulian wines. The pool was fresh and clean, and quite large for the small number of people at the property. Also, this is NOT one of those 'event' hotels, and it was very quiet and calm. About 10 - 20 minutes drive as well to Ostuni and Alberabello where we took some day trips. We had a wonderful time at this Masseria, and not much more to expect. WiFi connectivity outside could be improved, as it's in the countryside, but I'm picking for something to call to improve.

The rooms close to the reception can get noisy and lack privacy, make sure to ask for a quiet room. There’s also a security system on the gate to the garden that beeps every few seconds which can be a bit annoying.

I only wish we could have stayed longer. Absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. The pool was wonderful. The room was amazing. Very quiet and relaxing. Booked a cooking class nearby

Beautiful property - everything is so well decorated. The terrazas are gorgeous and the views are stunning. The breakfast each morning is freshly made with a huge choice of sweet & savoury items. The pool is even bigger than I thought. It's also not too far from the towns (and a beautiful drive). Highly recommend. Wifi in the rooms is patchy but it's still workable.

The shower was a bit dense

Fantastic little oasis of greenery, with a comfortable pool area. Great staff, very attentive. Very good pool bar. Very nice, cosy common room area (like a living room, with self service bar). Absolutely gorgeous breakfast, one of the best ones we've had. Dinner in the restaurant is in comparison fine, but not extraordinary. The music room, while amazingly furnished, didn't have a working music system because guests keep breaking the turntable (they did explain it, which is fine, but maybe a Bluetooth connection at least, or CDs, would be better).

Property lovely. Pool area superb. Room very comfortable. Breakfast was ok - only hot option was fried or scrambled eggs but plenty of fruit, pastries ect.

Beautiful facility and great breakfast. Was a perfect spot to relax after a busy city like Paris. We enjoyed the pool and also had dinner at the hotel restaurant one evening. Highly recommend if you want a cozy quiet stay.

Everything was wonderful! Beautiful property, extremely comfortable bed and pillows, helpful staff and delicious food. I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful, beautiful place. Gorgeous pool complex. I highly recommend it as a retreat. Showers were only warm despite having only the hot tap on. We called the front desk (after dinner) in case there was an easy fix, but none was found. The dinner was disappointing as they mixed up my order and all the food was barely warm, much less hot. We were the first guests of the season so I would expect some small things to be off. I have every confidence this property will be exceptional in no time. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

The staff was wonderful, and even accommodated our request for a change in furniture in our room! Sabine and Alfonso were standouts and very excited and interested in their work. Giovanna and Piero who provided wellness treatments were also fantastic. The living room and public areas were fantastic and enjoyable. We traveled in October and did not have the opportunity to enjoy the pool, but the landscape was fantastic and we hope to return in warmer weather. The chapel was beautiful, and it was a wonderful place to reflect and have calm. There wasn’t anything that we didn’t really like, but we do have a few suggestions. 1. The dinner option is quite interesting, however, we found that 730 was too late for us because we would not have finished eating until at least 9 PM which is a bit late. 2. Would be fantastic if there were extended walking areas /trails around the property.

The main server/ person who was running the dinner service was absolutely terrific! HE made are stay wonderful. He helped us with wine and handled two parents traveling with young children very well. He was very accommodative and understanding. Most importantly he made us feel welcomed! One person at the front desk was absolutely wonderful and very helpful with providing recommendations that fit our needs. There was another person who was less helpful in providing guidance/ recommendations.

Property was beautiful and staff super friendly. Dinners were delicious and wine recommendations were perfect. Easy drives to Otsuni and beautiful countryside. Didn't use the pool but looked clean and well maintained. Would stay here again. Bathroom was small but wasn't a big deal.

Staff was very kind, location was gorgeous, room was spacious and comfortable. We were in offseason, so pool wasn't usable, but the pool looked very nice. Facilities for breakfast were very charming. No real issues.

Most friendly personel and owner. We had the surprise of an upgrade to a "trullo room" which was lovely. Thank you very much to all, specially to Lucia!! You made a dream come true, to sleep in a trullo. Very good breakfast and at dinner, Alfonso was very friendly and helpful with the wine selection. We tried excellent wines from Puglia. The property is beautiful and very well kept. Unfortunately we had rainy days and couldn't enjoy the gardens. The living room areas are very nice/chic and the "Honesty bar" is cosy and a grat idea! We look forward to come back, hoping for better weather.

We enjoyed our stay in Cervarolo very much. The property with historic buildings and a huge pool in a garden is marvelous. Remote enough to be tranquil, yet close to wonderful Ostuni and other must sees in Puglia. Our room was spacious and had a lovely terrace. The food at Cervarolo is excellent. Dinners in an open restaurant are fun and Alfonso knows everything about the local wines that are served exclusively. We also loved lunch by the pool. Everyone who works here is dedicated. friendly and professional. -
