Masseria Le Carrube

We had to move rooms just before midnight as the electricity fused and the air conditioning did not work. The night manager was extremely helpful. The room we moved to had a leaking air conditioning unit and a toilet that ran water continuously. Wet feet and an irritating noise do not make a luxurious experience. It was the last night of our holiday and did not match our expectations. I have been in correspondence with management and they are sorry. I would question their maintenance regime and why two rooms were not up to scratch. It simply is not good enough.

Very charming

They should have notified guests before day of a bicycle race using the main road out which lasted most of the day. Guests had to choose swimming or just relaxing there or being stuck!

The gentleman working the front desk was not very helpful. He sent us to two restaurants that were completely booked and didn’t check ahead of time seemed bothered by our request.

By far the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed! From start to finish it was the most relaxing, peaceful and wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, willing to do anything to make our stay the best possible, and the food was INCREDIBLE, especially the lunch by the pool. The pool was picturesque, the views were incredible, the attention to detail was immaculate. I only have the best things to say, and can’t wait to return one day! NOTHING! Perfection.

Gorgeous property that’s so aesthetically pleasing. The pool was clean and relaxing, with more than enough chairs so that things didn’t feel crowded. The staff is wonderful and there to help with anything you need. And finally, the breakfast was 10/10 with so many options, including for vegan and gluten-free guests.

Room was nice and big, pictures estate They only offered vegetarian food for dinner. If you’re in the middle of nowhere, a non vegetarian option would be appreciated.

Location is great, a proper masseria in the middle of the olive trees. Beautiful minimalist style. Everything looks a bit tired, nothing is really comfortable (from the beddings to the loungers). The staff is generally inattentive.

The team members were exceptional. The room was clean, comfortable and plenty of space. I could have stayed for days and used it as a base for travelling around. Breakfast was included and just amazing . The vegetarian restaurant for dinner was a pleasant surprise. Loved everything about it . Can’t fault it.
