Villa Otivar - Rio Verde

Cleanliness and tastefulness of one room’s interior design. Bed might have been more comfortable, but sheets and pillows were great. Location within village. To get to/from location there is a steep walk only transited by people and bikes. If one is unhealthy or handicapped this is not a place for you. Also there is no elevator. There was no one to greet us. The entry process was very lengthy. If you do not have an Internet connection forget it. Very difficult checkin to obtain an access code to the lockbox for the keys. We almost gave up.

Wow, what an amazing night away we had. The hosts are simply wonderful and so accommodating. They provided us with complimentary wine and snacks and made us feel so at home. The rooms and the villa in general have been impeccably decorated and are lovely and stylish. We will definitely be back. Don't hesitate to book this wonderful place, you'll love every minute!

The owner was superfriendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very nicely decorated, great style. The view from the rooftop terrace awesome. And they were very easy going with our dog! The surroundings are beautiful with great walking opportunities. I'm sure we will come back! Nothing really. Unfortunately one of the two owners was ill so there was no food service. Can't blame them for that. The mattress was a bit too soft for my taste, but that's very personal.

Villa Otivar is located in a quiet town where you can enjoy a good rest. The room is well decorated, comfortable and the air conditioning is a blessing when it comes to the high temperatures that can be felt in southern Spain The only downside that could be mentioned is the steep street that one has to climb to reach the main street. Cleaning can be improved

Beautiful property, very well maintained and in a fabulous location for enjoying the natural surroundings.

Exceptional

A little tricky to find (it's down some winding alleyways) but worth the effort. The very gracious, English speaking host treated us to beers after we had some trouble getting in (much appreciated after a long day of cycling). The acommodations were top-notch, and restaurants and a supermarket were nearby.

It was a nice room with a modern bathroom. In the center of the village. The entrance was well arranhed with a lock-box. The room had a small fridge. It was like 100m walk from the parking spot along the main road. Not too far, but very steep. The front door was very narrow. Take your backpack off before entering.

Really lovely hotel extremely comfortable. Beds amazing. All in all highly recommend I like everything but it’s very hilly and if you’re not a good walker it’s not for you.
