B&B Villa Ginevra

The location was phenomenal- near grocery store, right next to the stazione for buses and the trains (that weren’t running), about a 5-7 minute walk to the lungomare/centro historico, a well-outfitted kitchen if you want to make meals, an espresso machine for all the caffeine you can drink from 8-10 am, a beautiful pool and back yard. The room was equipped with everything you could want and had wonderful special touches, like the back lighting on the headboards. It was THE cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. Exceptional! Stefano the host was always just a WhatsApp away. Even though he doesn’t live there, I felt like he was always available and super helpful. He gave me perfect recommendations for a bicycle rental (BIROTA, Grazie!) and restaurants. Not much! But a few small things (that wouldn’t stop me from returning) I didn’t have hot water one night (fixed by the next day) and the other times it takes quite long for the water to heat up (which is a huge waste of water!), shower pressure wasn’t great (that’s the shower head though- outdoor shower was awesome!) and the pillows were really really flat. The spare pillow was fluffier so I used that one. And this is not such a bad thing, but I asked for no housekeeping for the four days I was there because I’m just one person, I’m clean (I even make my bed every day), and I’m trying to help save on labor and Cleaning/water/electric costs. The day before I left my room was completely cleaned, sheets, towels, everything, and it was completely unnecessary. And all of my stuff was moved around. Which I really don’t like. The staff should never touch the guests’ items unless absolutely necessary. I couldn’t find my shoes for like five minutes! Like I said it’s not a horrible thing because this B&B is so clean that it’s not a game changer.

Comfortable room with shared kitchen available for use. Nicely furnished and very clean. Nice, big terrace and garden with pool a real bonus! Easy parking outside the property and only a 10 minute walk into the old town. Self service breakfast at €10 was extra but didn’t seem very good value.

Had everything we needed so well equipped, use of a fridge your own shelf in it. Drying racks in the room for your towels etc. Lovely host really nice and friendly. We were so impressed with our stay, value for money is phenomenal. It’s no frills but has everything you need and is so perfect for a base to explore Otranto or Beach! Free parking outside too! 10 minute walk into town and to local beach! Just perfect, don’t miss out! Nothing!

The place was really lovely. The pool was super clean and nice to have. Friendly staff, equipped kitchen, comfortable rooms, and easy walk to the town!

Stefano was a great host and the facilities are amazing. The swimming pool was perfect to cool down. we highly recommend a stay here.

Very convenient because you jump from the train to the B&B and it’s very quiet and peaceful. Walking distance to the beach and old city. Nice host.

The hotel is very nice. We took all 4 rooms. It is very convenient that there is a kitchen and a beautiful backyard. Only 6 minutes to the city center and the sea. I recommend 100%

Clean and comfortable room. We had cleaning services almost daily. The pool zone was very stylish. Stefano and Francesco were very polite, helpful and always present. Even if the property is near the train station, there were no incidents or noises. I especially loved the cat on the property, Cico really enlightened our stay there. The pool was not so clean.
