Hotel Profumo di Mare

The location was amazing. The Managment was very stingy for towels. The WiFi was not available in 2 of the rooms we booked on different ends of the hotel. Only the front desk has WiFi.

Ottima posizione stanza con forte odori di umido e muffa, senza la possibilità di aprire le finestre affacciate sulla scala interna con puzza di pesce fritto dalla cucina sottostante.

Breakfast was just ok - and there's no view from the breakfast area. Also there was a €15 pet fee for my small dog.

Great location across the street from a beautiful beach. Short walk to the old town with great nightlife. Room could use an update.

Good location . friendly staff. Lunch, outside , was excellent ! Breakfast ( buffet) was cumbersome and limited....had to go and ask for something at the balcony / shop . Parking available at a 7 min walk.

​My recent stay at Profumero di Mare was an absolute delight, and I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. ​The location is truly fantastic. We were easily able to walk to all the major attractions, as well as fantastic shopping and a wide array of excellent restaurants. Being so centrally located made exploring the city incredibly easy and enjoyable. ​What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff. From the moment we arrived, the entire team was extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. They were also instrumental in making our travel smooth, helping us arrange rides to every destination we wanted to visit—a huge convenience! ​We also took advantage of the on-site hotel restaurant, which was not only convenient but also served great food with equally wonderful staff. It was a perfect, low-stress option after a long day of sightseeing. ​If you're looking for a hotel with an unbeatable location, delicious food, and a staff that treats you like family, Profumero di Mare is the place to book. I'll certainly be staying here again! There was nothing negative.

Location House keeper very polite overpriced for the type of hotel with no lobby . The hotel has just bedrooms. one of the room had malfunctioning air condition and in another the shower handle broke and was never repaired. At breakfast by the end there were almost no croissants. concierge wanted to charge €15 a day for a parking location and pay directly to the hotel; I discovered it was only €5 if paid directly to parking lot . They never responded that the second room wasn't available with ocean view, I thought we would have the second room with ocean view from the third day of our stay.

The view in one room the cleaning lady was nice The hotel didn't have any Lobby area, just a tiny reception desk and nothing else, just stairs up to the rooms. The entrance looks like a 1 Star hotel. the breakfast ended at 10, but by that time they didn't have any croissants left. The breakfast room was very modest, like the hotel. Rooms were decent, but one had very low functioning air co ditooning and another shower head holder broke and was never replaced Frigo Bar was empty even there was a Menu for the list of beverages and prices. Also at arrival they wanted to charged a parking E15 a day, while was only E 5if we would pay to the parking directly .

Hotel was located next to the beach in Otranto. Only as short walk into the historical centre of Otranto. Staff at reception and breakfast were pleasant and helpful. Room was clean, quiet, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. No additional charge for breakfast or internet. The hotel's restaurant specializes in fish dishes; excellent food and service. Many other restaurants within a short walking distance. Would definitely stay here again. nothing

This was the most amazing venue. In front of the sea with great staff. We have travelled everywhere and this is the best we have seen. A family venture. Brothers and mother so helpful. The best! Nothing.

The location is perfect. The breakfast was excellent! The staff is so helpful and friendly.

Hotel is about 10 minutes walk from railway station on sea front. My room was excellent spacious with sea view from balcony etc. Breakfast was available from 08.00 but arrangements were made for an earlier start so I could catch first train in morning. restaurant was good - specialises in local fish and a 10% discount was offered for hotel guests. A kettle in room would have been good.
