Very close to all main attractions. Clean and functional. Comfortable bed. Water in the fridge. Good breakfast included. Space to store our bikes overnight. Steep staircase to the first floor. Owner did help with our bikes, so that evens out the inconvenience

The location couldn’t be better and our host went above and beyond to make our stay memorable ?

Convenient. Value. Staff was not helpful and misled us about breakfast. We were told we could have coffee at 7am but the place was closed. We were told we could have breakfast at 8am but the fellow at the bar said no, not open until 9am. I asked for hot water and he said nothing available until 9am. And he said it rudely. He would do nothing even though the doors were open. In six days in Puglia, this was the low point. Service at the hotel and at the bar restaurant in the morning. The evening at the bar restaurant was fine except for the very loud family with no sense of respect and impact on others.

Great location right in front of the castle, 1 minute walk from the seafront and Otranto's historic centre. Parking 4 minutes' away (it was free during our stay due to low season, otherwise is 5 euros/day (the host will tell you where it is in his check-in instructions). The room was bright and quiet. Great wifi. Really nice breakfast (mainly sweet stuff with some cooked ham) with cereals, yogurts, bread & jam/nutella, juice, home made croissants. The host was lovely and told us about Otranto's history. Otranto is beautiful - do not miss it in your tour of Puglia!

Great location, very well located to the castle and the beachfront. It was a last minute booking, and they were very helpful with finding parking and carrying luggage up the stairs. Fab little balcony. Shower not great- handheld only and door didn't close properly

Very nice and welcoming host. It was easy and quick to arrange checkin. Very good breakfast downstairs in the restaurant with sliced ham, fruits, capuccino with soya milk ;) Location is also great, right next to old town but easy to reach by car. -

Room was comfortable, decorated friendly. Breakfast also okay. I needed a receipt from the Hotel to get reimbursed from my university. When I explained this to the hotel owner he suddenly insisted he does not speak English. I tried to explain in Italian and also a friendly woman helped me with the translation. The Hotel owner got very angry at us and kept shouting that since I did the payment through Booking he could not provide me with anything. He kept saying that I was requesting something illegal and that it is not his problem that my institute requires a document from the Hotel. Finally he opened Word on his PC but then told me I should write the statement myself if I need it so badly. I sat down at the reception and wrote it myself while he kept ranting. The other customer tried to help me. Finally, I was afraid the owner would get violent and I left without a proper document. I understand the request might be outside of your standard procedures but this is no way to treat a customer.
