The property has been tastefully renovated and decorated. Beautiful spacious room, delicious breakfast and the outdoor spaces and pool area are lovely. It was very difficult to find because the address is misleading and is actually located on a dead end side street. I would highly suggest that you put a large sign on Via Memoria with an arrow pointing up the small street. We arrived late and became very frustrated trying to find the property. Not a great start!

I had a wonderful stay at Blu and I am so glad I stayed here. The staff was absolutely lovely and made me feel so welcome (like family!) from the moment I arrived - so much so that I was sad to leave them at the end of my stay! They really made my time in Otranto special and memorable, and I definitely plan to return one day. The property itself was really nice, and my suite was clean, secure, and super quiet. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time and the staff was available to help with anything. Breakfast was SO good - best I had during my entire time in Puglia. Having the pool on site was also a plus. It was well-maintained, clean and secluded (although I didn't really have time to take full advantage of it during my short stay). Great value overall. Location-wise, Blu is just a short 5-8 minute walk into the old town. It was super convenient and easy to navigate (even as a solo female traveller). There's free parking (white lines) on the street out front of the property and I found a spot every day with no issues, but there's paid parking available too for a set daily rate (not expensive) if all the spots are taken. Parking is along the main street off the roundabout and the entrance of Blu is on a little side street :)

Wonderful breakfast. Lovely staff, Aldo & Lorena were fantastic. Calm and relaxing pool and outdoor area. Spotlessly clean. Excellent location, a short walk into town, and away from busy tourist areas. We used this as a base to explore southern Puglia and really enjoyed our stay.

The property and it’s rooms are just beautiful, well taken care of and the host was so welcoming! We will definitely come back!

Hostess was exceptional, nothing was a problem, and all staff were extremely pleasant and cheerful. Pool area was great and breakfasts were lovely. Everything was great. We can't fault it.

Hosts are very friendly and make you feel at home. In addition, it is within walking distance of the main points of interests. Would recommend without any hesitation.

A Supertastic small BnB with a fabulous pool . Tucked into the south of Otranto , it is about a 10 minute walk or 2000 walking steps into the centre . The rooms are spacious, very well designed , clean , polished and tasteful . They are cleaned daily . The owner is a delightful gentleman, an Architect himself and the style reflects that . There is a housekeeper on duty until 3 who also takes care to supply you with coffee in the am and typical Mediterranean fayre . The croissants are warm and fresh . There is a a fridge in the room and a safe . Tea making facilities are available on request . The shower rooms are really nice ! Well designed with power showers, with natural light too. Very tasteful too . As somebody interested in interior design & development - the rooms and shower room were really quite perfect to meet your holiday needs. What I particularly loved about the BnB is how peaceful it was . Away from the crowds and with the lovely , fresh pool I could read all day without being disturbed . The pool really is superb . You would be hard pressed to stay somewhere so central with access to a pool this size . There is very little around the BnB apart from a Pizzeria and but as I say it is a short walk to the port. There are a couple of eateries just as soon as you hit the port and then 40 steps into the village itself . Otranto is small and during peak season must be difficult . There are heaps of restaurants but convenience stores are located in the North of the town ( a bit of a hike ) . Some of the ice-cream shops sell snacks and sodas but a small convenience store in the centre would be a welcome addition . All in all , this BnB is a very stylish place to stay ! There is ample parking and it is a great place to use as a base to explore the rest of Puglia . I really appreciated the quietness . 1. Wine glasses in the room would be a plus - making use of the Fridge includes stocking it with wine (!) and; 2. Some privacy plants would be welcome in some of the terraces - my room overlooked someone’s garden and I hung towels on the balcony to avoid being seen . Some tall plants ( artificial ) would solve the problem and; 3. Most importantly - some signage indicating what to do if you lock yourself out of your room . The housekeeper and cleaner leave at 3 ish and so you may get stuck . I locked myself out of my room twice . I was wondering about a key safe for each of the rooms with a key in the box for the room ( as opposed to a keycard ). I was a bit anxious about this but the owner kindly pointed out I could knock on his mother’s door . This might work in the day but not at night . There are no staff present after 3 ish so I think this has to be looked at quite quickly . I left my room and keycard in the room and as I say if it had happened after 3, I would have been stuck .

The staff is incredibly friendly, and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was not only super helpful but also very easygoing. I’d definitely go back there next summer.
