I loved how much of a "hidden" gem feeling this place has. We needed a place to go stargazing and B&B Lauwersstate was one of the few ones that was nearby. It ended up being an amazing decision! The owner Ingrid personally welcomed us in the parking lot and told us about the area and gave us suggestions where to go. She had a lot of information about activities around the area. She really made us feel welcome and even helped us reserve a timeslot for an Alpaca farm the next day because our stargazing plans were changed due to bad weather. There's spacious parking in the front. The room was so pretty, clean and newly renovated. The bathroom and toilet was gorgeous. We could freely use the kitchen however we wanted to eat our own food we had brought with us. It was complete with a fridge, water cooker, coffee maker etc. -- even the room too. The BnB is very close to the dijk which would be excellent for stargazing if the weather permitted. If you're in the north I would definitely recommend staying here. 5/5 stars I couldn't recommend it more. I'm definitely going to come back!

Lovely host and room. Tea and coffee available was a super touch. Well placed for cycling along EV12 and secure space for your cycle overnight.

Le petit dejeuner tres bon. Seul point negativ est les toilettes comunes but this might be expected in a B and B See above.

Very kind and friendly host who told us all about the place and it's surroundings. Room was beautiful and clean. Excellent breakfast. Plenty of things to see and so nearby. The mattress was at the end of its life expectancy and not the most comfortable anymore but otherwise great experience all round.
