Initially, I booked for 2 nights but then ended up staying for 6 nights. The property is located very near to the popular walking street. There were a lot of good cafes in the walking distance. It is a quiet and beautiful place, with birds chirping in the morning and a lot of greenery. Common room was a comfortable place to sit, work and read from a collection of books there. There were reclining chair and hammock in the garden. Wifi was decent, I took a few video work calls. There was a well-functioning kitchen available with microwave, toaster, tea/coffee, utensils, water, refridgerator, etc. The best thing that I liked about the place was the hosts. It is run by a sweet and elderly couple. The husband speaks good english but wife doesn't. They rent out scooters as well. Not able to think of anything worth mentioning. May be one thing. The bathrooms were a little old and not as fancy as I have observed in other hostels while travelling in Thailand. But it didn't bother me at all.

Would recommend an eye mask, similar to most places in Thailand the curtains are lightweight.

Beautiful large place with a wonderful host No curtains around the upper bunk bed

Lovely warm host, nice outdoor chill space, excellent location, great recommendations Bed and pillow very uncomfortable, top bunk no curtain and only main room big light.. they could spend a few baht and get some new pillows and a room lamp would make a big difference.

Great host, good location. Can rent motorbike at the hostel

It’s a small house so the place feels cozy and safe. I stayed in the female room and it was great. It’s a room for 4 with 2 bunk beds and the room is big with free space to put your things which is very convenient. The owner is very nice. The location is good- close to the walking street and very close to the Chabad (for Jewish). The big downfall of this place is the bathroom/ toilet. There is one bathroom + shower in the house and two more outside of the house which is not very convenient. And there is no hot water in the shower which is a bummer when it’s cold outside in the evenings.

The laidback vibes. It’s almost felt like staying at home. The husband-wife (staff) managing the property are very professional. Within 15 mins of arriving my checkin, property tour, rules and the basic list of things to do were told by the manager. I really like the fact that he remembers each and every guests name.

The bathroom was always wet on the floor

Very sweet environment and knowledgeable host. It is in the center of the city so very convenient if you like to go to walking market or bus station. It has a green garden with hammocks so you can chill among the city center. Highly recommended.

Close to the action but quiet property. The host couple were so helpful with questions and advice about the area.

I was in a lot of hostels, Airbnbs and Hotels. I love this place a lot, it more like a homestay than hostel and has a cute garden to offer. It’s very central in the middle of Pai city, that’s why I return here often. The couple who runs it are great hosts. Always trying their best to make this place inclusive & comfortable for everyone. Location is amazing while it’s quiet. Only downside is that Ac is not working between 12- 6 PM during the day, if you come in the hot season.
