The place is sweet. The location is awesome. Good value for money. The staff was very mindfull. The bathroom is somewhat open to others so no sound privacy.

nice staff, clean, very good location and very quiet. you can rent a scooter from the guesthouse as well. adorable cats hanging around. quite old ac, takes time to cool the room especially when you’re out of the room and the ac was off for a long period of time. wasn’t a big trouble for us.

Great location, quiet nook in pai Beautiful private rooms. There was a flood hazard and they upgraded us to a different room with no additional charges. Had a sewer issue, bad smell in the bathroom and a bit of a flood. Once we got upgraded there was no sewage issue

Perfect place to stay in Pai, only a few minutes away from walking street and the property is beautifully situated beside the river. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to check in a little bit early. The bed was very comfortable. We stayed on one of the bungalows with a fan (no AC) and we didn’t have any problems sleeping. Given the location beside the river there is mosquitos however a mosquito net is provided for the bed. Extremely good value for money and would recommend to anyone for their stay in Pai. The rooms are a little dated but comfortable.

Location by Pai river was so serene…our family room faced the grassy river bank and was v cute w clean stone front seat/bench and a hammock. A few steps from the bamboo/suspension bridge then the walking street which was fairly pumping! Room was very simple, fresh and very adequate…loved the shower once I got the hang of it! Overall I found little to fault for this price - perhaps the aircon was a bit loud and beds could have been a little softer…

Really nice setting, only a couple mins walk across the bridge right into the night market. Sadly during a 2night stay both nights guests coming back drunk around midnight and staying outside in the garden area talking and drinking until 2am. the mattress are way too hard for me but its manageable for only 2 nights.

Location is good, just across the river on a bamboo bridge. It’s quiet and secluded yet 5 min to the walking street. We booked the double room with a fan. It comes with a porch and that’s nice for hanging outside. Toilet and shower were also nice with amenities provided. If you are having a scooter you cannot reach your room. Either you park it in front of the bridge or you have to make a huge detour to get there. Room was really smelly and it was more like a cottage. The switches for lights were nowhere near the bed. Also electric sockets. Staff was acting suspicious of you and weren’t all that friendly. If you decide to stay here book a room with AC instead because they look much more decent.

No breakfast but 24/7 coffee and fresh water. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Mine was directly in font of the river. If I hadn't booked onward travel, I'd've stayed for an extra day or two.

The small little hose that I was given, even thought was not that premium, it had it s own little vibe. The bed was just amazing. I don't know if it was just me being very tired, but I had a great sleep there. The location is also great. Close to the village center, but still quite and remote. The cherry on top would be the outside sitting areas. They have a number if chairs, gazebos and terraces all on the side of the river and all with theyr unique little arrangements. The Canary Guesthouse is a very nice place to sit if you enjoy nature and peace.
