Perfect location close to walking street but quiet

Beautiful place, perfectly located on the quiet side of the river, but just a super short walk to walking street and town. The couple who owns the place are very sweet and attentive, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable with a lovely balcony and hammock overlooking the green garden. We really enjoyed our stay and kept extending it!

The location is excellent, and the staff are friendly and provide a very personal level of service. The beds were extremely hard and very uncomfortable. The breakfast was not diverse and offered very limited variety

Rock hard beds and pillows, no hot water in showers and horrible water flow (changed room and still the same) no reception availability and always needed to call them. We came to a dirty bed and even though they tried to fix things, we moved to a worse room. Bottom line, we left the money (because they didn’t want to help with partial refund) and checked out eagerly after 1 night and moved to another resort.

The Pai Loess resort was in a great location. A 10 minute walk from the bus station. A 2 minute walk over the bamboo bridge and you are at the main streets - restaurants, night markets. The room was clean and comfortable. A hammock on each balcony.

It’s nestled on the river between town and countryside; quiet and private, yet accessible to all amenities. Hosts and staff are lovely people. Breakfast surrounded by lush greenery in the misty mornings are a wonderful way to start the day.

the rooms were well appointed, a good size and very comfortable. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful from arrival all the way until departure. The location was good, right on the river and just a short walk into the middle of the town Nothing really. For the price we paid, it was a very good deal.

The location is great, overall clean (although they don’t clean your room during your stay). Rooms are very small, shower is old and there’s a problem with the hot water. During our stay there was construction work right next to us that woke us up very early in the morning.

It doesn’t match the photos. Shower looks really bad, the sink disconnects from the wall. Bed was very not comfortable

There are no games for the kids at the reception. Working noise. No hair conditioner. No tea or coffee in the room.

The connection at the wall power sockets have been loose, hence the plugs/charger could not hold and fell out. A small thing, but in our digital world, guests needs to charge phones and computer. Also, at the place where the water kettle was placed, there was no power outlet, The water pipes coming out of the wall in the bathroom are dangerously long, some new bathroom taps would make it so much better. Finally, the AC needed an urgent cleaning.

They gave us different room than what we booked. We booked by the river but they gave us room a few minutes walk from the river.

bungalow was spacious and clean, location is nice for exploring the city by foot. Breakfast was good. The staff and owners are the best.

The staff was great. I loved them. They gave us a different room than we booked but it was bigger. They were flexible with bags. many issues with the facilities. The bathroom didn’t dry at all (the lady told us she’s waiting for a plumber). But that’s not the only issue. The wifi is not working at all. We couldn’t book the next place using the internet. The beds are very firm. I liked this but my husband didn’t. Last but not least, the breakfast was not good at all. We had stayed at a cheaper but better place with a bigger breakfast option and everything worked just fine.

Amazing place down by the river, just over the bridge from the wlking street. The staff were so nice, breakfast good and great value all round. Will definately stay again. Thanks for amazing trip. Loved it. Nothing. Perfect.

Location, location, location. You are one scenic bamboo bridge crossing away from the heart of Pai. The manager (owner?) is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn’t bad. The balcony hammock was fantastic! My biggest gripe was the lack of a security box in the room. If there was one, I didn’t notice it. It’s also not an easy location to get an in town taxi to pick you up. Other than that, a big thumbs up.
