Chang Pai Hill - Adults Only

It was very cold at this season and i was cold very morning in the bed no very comfortable.

Beautiful view and very kind staff. We were injured in an accident while there and had to leave early and they were very helpful.

The views really are spectacular! We loved the balcony area and spent lots of time there. The room was very clean and the AC worked well. The bedding was very luxurious feeling and crisp white! Breakfast was delicious! So special having it brought to the room. Would highly recommend the pancake! The shuttle to/from town was very cute and convenient! We used it several times! The bed felt like it could break at any moment. Even turning over in the night felt risky. It was made from bamboo and no support in the middle. The outdoor tub was cool but we couldn’t really use it as there were guests in the room below who were coming and going. Their door had perfect view of the tub… it would be great if there was a privacy curtain added so people could close it to use the tub. The staff didn’t really interact with us or let us know there was a cafe on site or give info about the town/renting bikes etc. Maybe a language barrier so no fault of the hotel, but would have been nice for a bit more info! These negatives wouldn’t stop me from staying again though, the views just can’t be beat! Surrounded by jungle sounds, so relaxing!

Nothing Avoid this place. We had no hot water, and it’s nowhere near Walking Street despite how it’s presented online. The room and bathroom were not clean, bedding and towels felt unhygienic, and multiple things were broken, yet there was a price list on the wall charging guests for damaged items. On top of that, mosquitoes were everywhere. The biggest issue is that it looks very different from the Booking.com photos. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

This isn't our first visit, and not our first five star review for Chang Pai Hill. We make the drive from Hang Dong every year. It's SOO comforting knowing what were setting ourselves up for.. always consistent which is why we keep returning. The beds are reliably soft, cold water waiting for you in the mini fridge, food that is always delicious and satisfying, homemade gelato (that's right, not a typo) that is out of the world! Recommend two scoops, Peanut butger and Chocolate, the perfect mix The staff that is beyond amazing and friendly (and great at their jobs!) with the piece de resistance being a piping hot bath on the patio that overlooks the beautiful greenery of Pai. I'm not going to say 'didn't like' because we love everything! The only, I mean onlyyyy thing I could say would be regarding the bathtubs.. be prepared it will take a good 45 minutes at least to fill the tub, yes we timed it. :D BUT you can rest assured that the water will still be hot for you, so you'll just have to be a little patient!

Everything was amazing as expected, enjoyed every minute there. Amazing views out of the bed We had a little bas smell from the bathroom, we just shut the door and forgot about it

The staff was very kind The hill is very steep and the windows in the bathroom aren’t closed and there were many flies in the shower…. Isn’t very nice taking a shower in that environment

It was interesting and fun to try something new with the huts. We didn't use the pool but it looked great. Just up the hill is a cafe, like 2 min walk, and it has an amazing view. The walk into town isn't too bad, it's about 20 minutes, but if you have cars/bikes it's very easy. There's also parking for bikes (not sure about cars). The facilities were pretty basic but they all worked. The bed was standard, I'd say if you're backpacking it's better than backpacker standards, but for anyone else it might be a bit hard. The staff seemed friendly and we had no issues at all checking in. They also had a shuttle service that picked us up for free from the bus station. I'd say the selling point is the hut experience. However, there are better places, more luxurious for this same price or cheaper.

Booked this for the outdoor tub but was difficult to enjoy on account of the mosquitos. 10/10 for the staff but 2/10 for the room, since night and day there were dead ants falling onto the bed from the pot light right above the bed, complete nightmare. As well, the promised views facing west for sunset were fully obstructed by over grown trees. High time for repair and maintenance I think.

Great location: quieter with lots of trees and nature. Very tasty restaurant with fabulous views. Sometimes too many mosquitos to be on the deck, but well worth it for the experience.

Bath's functions weren't working properly.

Wow, literally everything about this place was amazing! I stayed in the Deluxe Room Spa Bath. Literally overlooks the jungle, with a jet tub on a huge balcony patio. The room was great, and the bed was so comfortable (a rarity with Thailand hotels). The breakfast was outstanding, I highly recommend getting it. There’s a broad selection of items, and they bring it to your room each morning. The Banana Roti may in fact be the best I’ve had, like a perfect flaky pastry treat with breakfast, a must have!! On the edge of town, so nice and quiet, but only a 20 minute walk to the centre of Pai. Staff is great, everything is great, it’s the only place I’ll stay when I come back to Pai:)

The view from the room was spectacular! I loved waking up in the morning and sitting out on the balcony. I also enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. Although it did take a really long time to fill up. But once it did, it was really nice. Unfortunately, the properties very dated. Old linens towels, etc. I even had some holes in my bedspread. But on the other hand, the bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. I am not brave enough to rent a motorbike so walking up the hill was a little challenging, but I was up for it.

Everyone was beyond polite and accommodating, and we had the best view of Pai. A must stay!

The view from the restaurant area was nice, and our one meal we had there was good. The restaurant bar closed earlier than advertised (closed at 8pm, not 9pm); the rooms were very dated, and a little dusty. It doesn't seem like there is a lot of upkeep at this place.

The view is BEAUTIFUL! Absolutely loved it here, comfortable bed, ate our breakfast delivered to our door on our huge balcony every morning. The birds, the peace, the privacy all top notch. The owner & staff are also very friendly & can drop you to and from the town if you are lacking a bike. Sometimes you get ants but that can’t be helped just spray the room and don’t eat in the room & they don’t appear anymore.
