Pai River Jam Hostel & Campground

In a good location beside the Pai River,

I liked that it was a quite place with nature around, with access to the river and the two most adorable dogs I have met. Also the host was super friendly and kind :)

Good location close to Mae Yen Waterfalls & Wat Phra That Temple. Very Friendly Staff ? Nothing much can't complain

It's fantastic value if you don't mind falling asleep to music from nearby clubs which are not that close but close enough to colour the sound of what would otherwise be frogs and crickets.

WiFi only reached dorms very very occasionally.

Honestly the facilities are really basic so you should consider about it

We had an amazing time in the hostel. The place is very green, simple and the rooms were clean. Oliver, Su, Gille and the dogs made our two nights stay even more fun and unforgettable! We love you and will come back!

It was nice too have a place to stay on the river, and out of the busy area of Pai. Close enough to walk in for food etc. staff was really nice! It’s cheap enough They didn’t clean the bathroom or bed room once while we were there.. didn’t change the garbage full of dirty toilet paper. Bathroom stunk real bad. The beds felt like they were going to fall apart when you climbed up the latter, super shakey. There was only one port to charge your phone for the whole room (6beds). Most people who stayed here were loud all night and had no care for others in the dorms (stayed in 2 dorms while here)

No lockers to put my valuables. No AC in the rooms, so expect to feel so uncomfortably hot in the daytime. No towels provided. Toilets were a bit dirty and commonly shared among males/females. Room was tiny and didn't have enough space because there were too many bunk beds in a tiny hut.

Located next to River. Cooling place. Stayed at elevated hut with very steep staircase. Unsafe structure. Very hot in daytime (zinc roof) & very cold at night. Toilet was at another hut 50m away. Very inconvenient. Unstable WiFi signal as it's too far away from reception. Overall it's a MESSY place.

Cheap staying. Messy area. Strange people come at night and sleep on free beds like they are even not a customers. Crazy dogs on area.

The hostel location was great, close to the main strip and the river scenery was beautiful. The atmosphere is extremely chill and social and the check-in and out process was super simple. I personally left after one night, the bed wasn’t super comfortable, there wasn’t a lot of privacy (no bed curtains), there were no kitchen amenities, and and the party scene was pretty loud and went late into the evening.
