Wonderful resort with nice pool. Lovely staff. I would definitely come back to Pai and stay here Not enough chilling spaces around the pool. After the fire the gazebo for chilling was gone as well & I don’t think they will rebuild it too :(

Beautiful spot, friendly and helpful staff. Bungalows are simple but no issues. Pool is cold and refreshing. Breakfast is simple and delicious.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and there is a free shuttle when you need it to and from the bus station when you arrive and leave. The breakfast is ok (eggs, sausage, toast, salad, fruit) and there's toast, fruit and tea/coffee available all day if you want it. The walk into town is easy and very pleasant and takes no more than 15 minutes. It's great to feel as though you're out in the countryside, but actually only a short walk to the bars, restaurants and shops. We had 3 nights here which wasn't enough. I really hope to visit Pai again in the future and will definitely choose to stay here if so.

Repeated stay, always amazing atmosphere

A nice walk to town, most of it on a scenic quiet road but still lit at night. The staff were so very kind and the room quite comfortable with space to unpack. The roof was a nice spot to watch the moody morning mist on the mountains. It sits on quiet roads which were a joy to motorbike around and close to some very neat attractions. There are two friendly & chill cats on the property :-) I can be a little loud with the neighboring roosters, but I found it to be a good natural alarm clock.

The pool was lovely and being out on the countryside was very pleasant. Google maps took us a strange longer route to get there but it was actually quite a short road to town once you found the right road. The rooftop was a bit dingy and only had one chair. It would have been a nice spot to chill otherwise.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. They offered coffee, toast and fruit which was nice. The location, 10 min walk outside of the walking streets, was ideal for me because you get to see the mountains up close and the atmosphere is super peaceful and quiet all the time. I loved the feeling I had while being at the hotel because I felt far from the city and immersed in nature even though it’s only a 10 min walk. Being surrounded by nature is a big part of the charm here, and with that comes the presence of bugs—both outside and sometimes inside the room. If you’re someone who’s comfortable coexisting with nature, this place will be just fine for you haha. The open environment also means that wind and rain can quickly bring a bit of dirt and leaves to the outside areas of the rooms. The staff is very helpful and will gladly clean if you ask, but things can get messy again just as fast—it’s all part of the natural setting. If you’re open to embracing the outdoors, this place offers a truly unique stay.

Very quiet, in the middle of the countryside but easy to reach the city by walk. An amazing walk starts just next to it. Free breakfast and the staff is really nice.

Everything…… The staff were friendly and accommodating. There was tea coffee fruit bread jam and marmalade available 24 hours a day. They offer a free pick up from and to the walking street. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The little huts were adorable. The pool was clean and very refreshing after a day out. A 10 minute walk from the main walking street, this place is a little gem. We could not fault it. We would definitely stay again next time we are in Pai They also had the most lovely dog 10/10 from us ❤️

This place is perfect. We have stayed here 3 times now over three years and will always come back because the staff are so lovely and helpful with everything. It’s nice that it’s not in the centre of pai so you’re surrounded by nature. Also we love the cats that live there, they make the stay so much more special Nothing

Countryside Pai is an absolute oasis! Nestled in a peaceful, scenic setting, it’s the perfect place to unwind. The pool is a dream for cooling off on hot days, and the huts are spacious, spotless, and full of charm. What truly sets this place apart is the people— the owner and staff are incredibly warm, laid-back, and genuinely welcoming. They go above and beyond, offering everything from laundry service to motorbike rentals, making your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. It’s fantastic value for money and just a short 10-minute walk into town. This was my second stay here, and once again, I absolutely loved it! They kindly provide complimentary bottles of drinking water each day, which is much appreciated. However, I’d love to see a free refill station offered instead. It would be a more sustainable option and help reduce the use of single-use plastic bottles—something that remains a challenge in Thailand, and globally as well.

This was the perfect place to relax. The staff are super friendly and there is a little kitchen with a toastie press and a microwave so you can enjoy your 7eleven treats (do not miss the chocolate lava cake) from the comfort of your own bungalow. Bed was comfy, water pressure was good, air con was great, the place was super clean. Also each bungalow has a mini fridge. Honesty just a really nice spot to chill away from the busy town. Also I can recommend savoei for a great cooking class.

Gorgeous place ! Wish we could’ve stayed longer ! Pool was lovely and the little sitting area on top of the huts really made the experience!

"We absolutely loved The Countryside Pai! The host is the kindest person we met in Thailand – definitely a big bonus! The place is beautiful, and the room was simple but very comfortable. They offer a small breakfast, and the location is great – close to the center and within easy walking distance, since Pai is such a safe town. They also offer transportation to and from the center when you arrive or leave, which is super convenient. We highly recommend it! Nothing

Exceptional

Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Beautiful place 10 minutes away from the main strip we stayed for a week and would have stayed for another week if we wasn’t meeting family in Bangkok. Nothing the place is 10/10
