B4 Beach Club and Hotel

Our view Constant power outages, and staff refusing to turn the AC breaker on in the middle of the night. Resulting in loss of sleep, and preventing us from our safari. Also they tried charging us transportation that was with another private excursion. Communication with staff was poor and difficult.

Great location! Day beds were perfect for beach hangs. Vibe was pleasant We had not realized that the bathroom was outdoors. I did not mind, made me think of Bali, but my daughter found it inconvenient. Also, nothing to do with hotel management, but we had crazy crows waking us up in the morning. They were pecking, or should I say attacking our windows from 6am to 8am!!!

The location, the sun beds outside, the pretty lights, Pieter and Chappies smiling service. Pillows were a bit hard for me but that’s personal preference.

Our stay at B4 was amazing! We were only going to stay 2 nights, ended up staying for 6! The staff was so friendly & accommodating and the location on the beach can’t be beat! The breakfast was 10/10 and Peter did an outstanding job, great service all around! Definitely recommend B4!

Would be nice to have better access to pick pick and tuk tuk drivers.

The staff at the restaurant and bar were wonderful. The staff for the rest of the property were polite but were difficult to locate when needed. We were told the area has blackouts, which is understandable. However, our specific room kept losing power when the other rooms and property had power. (Our friend was staying in another room with no problem.) the only electronic we used was to charge our phone which we only did one phone at a time. We have no iron, hair dryer, or other electronic device with us. Of our 3 nights we lost power 3 times on two nights and it was so warm that it woke us up. We then had to go searching for someone to turn on the power. There was no one at the front desk and we had to walk around the property. The final night, they were able to restore power but not the air conditioning. They had no one here to help and we were just told to wait until the next morning. It is now after 10:00 and still no one has come. It is very hot and stuffy and they are not helping. It would be more tolerable if we had not paid so much for the room. It’s just not worth the price.

I loved that it was on the beach, it was very out doors ish... The bathroom at night is crawling with bugs due to the design of an out door restroom and the menu is limited... Add some local food after all its Tanzania and ppl coming to the country should have the option to try ugali and other foods.

Location was perfect - right on the beach. Food was good. Accomodation units were lovely - loved the outdoor bathroom. The pool didn’t look particularly well maintained. The road into the resort was tricky to drive and needs better signposting.

The location of the hotel is really good, close to the sea, the service and the people were really nice.

Loved the style of the bungalows, loved how you walk out onto sand and onto the beach. Loved the outdoor shower & toilet. Really felt like I could embrace being in Africa! The staff were great and really supportive when my flight was cancelled. The communication was great and took a lot of stress away. Just a build really, the food situation was quite confusing. I was half board and didn’t know your drinks with dinner were not included in the price, you also offer food at B4 boutique which is a lovely change up for some of your meals, but isn’t advertised anywhere. Maybe just an information board by the restaurant area explaining the meal situation would be beneficial.

Our stay was amazing, the property met all the expectations. Our bungalow was clean, had all facilities needed. We loved the bathroom being outside. Breakfast was delicious. I would definately come back there! Lily - the manager came to greet us and that small gesture made us feel welcomed and seen. Staff was always helpful. B4, Thank you so much for having us and truly recomend the place.

I like the lights around the area, and the maze-like paths. The room was super cozy and no mosquito net in the way for the bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. The menu can be better. The water pressure of the shower, I wish it felt like standing under a waterfall.

My bungalow was absolutely amazing. I never had an outdoor bathroom and it was a great experience. Everything was clean and tidy. I always felt safe and secure as a solo traveler. Breakfast was immense and extremely delicious. You could choose between some great options. I loved the sunbeds and the swings. Lilly was super welcoming and made me feel at home. I could even join a free mirror meditation. I definitely recommend that place. Everything was perfect

It is very well located and the rooms and bathrooms are super cool

We loved the house, The aircon and the whole vibe of B4, we loved the kitties there. Not much to dislike about sceptics the menu is expensive but the whole of Zanzi is expensive.
