B&B Opera dei Pupi

The location is great, just a 1-minute walk from Via Roma, which is a major, well-lit street. The room was clean, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. There is also a Lidl supermarket only a 10-minute walk away. The bus stop for the airport shuttle is very close to the accommodation as well.

Close to all tourist attraction, a few decent restaurants near by. 1. There are crazy loud parties every night outside. You can hear everything with closed windows and if you are on the balcony it’s hard to talk. There were no warnings about it and it’s upsetting. 2. They also have breakfast option, but there’s no fresh food for breakfast. Only grocery-bought pastry, salami. 3. There’s no WiFi in Rinaldo room (on the right down the corridor) and the host couldn’t do anything about it. 4. A few things were broken, shower can needs to be cleaned thoroughly.

Clean cute room, large bathroom, great WiFi, super accommodating and friendly host, easy check in. Delicious sweets for breakfast! Really noisy from outside (but not as horrible as other reviewers say- unless you want to sleep at 9pm) but also pretty noisy from adjacent rooms and common areas.

Location, easy access to Kalsa Too loud on the weekend because of the music coming from the market. Smell of sewer coming from the bathroom.

The property is clean and very near the center. It is very close to the tourist spots. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. The host was friendly, nice and very attentive to our needs. None.

Very noisey outside music played until 1am, dodgy street with drug dealers and narcomaniacs in the pavement

Comfortable, spacious and clean room. Very friendly stuff. Delicious homemade breakfast. Very noisy street( Vucciria) under the balcony-it's not minus, only characteristic of the neighborhood.

The property is beautiful and in a prime location. Our host, Joanne, was the most welcome host ever. She looked after us like family. I would return and recommend it to everyone!

Good breakfast, nice big room, nice service. It can be noisy from outside, it wasn't problem for us, but you have to take this into account when choosing the location

Debora is very nice and very helpful. The bed is super super comfortable, unusually for Europe! Streets outside are a bit gritty but it’s a city centre location so that’s to be expected

The location is very central and very convenient. But beware of the surroundings as its bit daunting on the street - dirty and next to operating restaurants back kitchen. The area is also part of street nightlife at Vucciria and that means v v loud music, drugs and alcohol in vicinity if thats your thing. The property is a flat converted in a number of rooms on the second floor with steep stairs. Our room was tiny but very clean. The best about this property is lovely Deborah and chats with her over lovely breakfast. See above - the surroundings and noise. There was no real view from internal window from our room (angelica) but it was not an issue as were out and about.

Superb

The location was the biggest advantage. We also appreciated the fridge in the room. The room was definitely smaller than we expected, with very thin walls. Every morning we were woken up by the host preparing breakfast. The loud music from outside might also be an issue for some people. The bathroom stank unpleasantly. There was also no balcony. The AC wasn’t working properly either.

The B&B’s location is just perfect, 1 minute and you are in the legendary Vucciria market and the centre and the seafront are just a short walk away. The room as well as shared areas were very clean and nicely arranged. The host is very very kind, responsive and takes such a good care of you through preparing your breakfast right in front of you :). Would recommend to stay here 100% Thank you for everything! Writing here just two small things, not as a complaint but a recommendation for the staff: the toilet seat was a bit loose and the ventilation in the bathroom was a bit dusty.
