Grand Hotel San Pietro

Room 403 there is a load noise of maybe a water pump or compressor that runs every 30 minutes for two minutes. I complained to the reception but nothing came of resolution. Unbearable to sleep with the noise and had to cut short the next days travel due too tiredness. Never again at here. The next day the reception acknowledged the problem but didn’t offer neither a discount or even apology. A known room problem should never be given to a client without prior statement,

The location on the private beach was great. A delicious breakfast buffet was served with everything from freshly made eggs to delicious pastries. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, beautiful views. The standard room is quite big and has a balcony. The junior suite is not good value for money. Much too expensive for what it is, better to get the standard room which us way cheaper (and actually better).

It's well located if you are going to Palinuro / Marina di Camerota. The staff was friendly. The bed was very uncomfortable, a remodelling is due and the mattresses should be of a better quality given the number of stars of the hotel. In the first night we had a super old mattress which they changed for a new one after we complained. In the first one you could really feel the metal of the bed right in your back. The new one was acceptable but still of a low quality compared to what expect for a 4 stars hotel. Surprising that the spa costs 40€ per person per hour, since it's very small and even though you have the hour for yourself, it is normally expected that spa is included in the price of the hotel, if it's so small it would also be okay to have one entrance once per stay, but charging for this after having an old hotel that lacks remodelling, not really acceptable.

Lovely pool area, good beach access. Evening drinks at the bar, watching the sunset, was a particular highlight. Easy walk into town for alternative places to eat.

We had the best holiday ever in Palinuro at this very special hotel. The room was gorgeous overlooking the pool and the sea where we could view the best sunsets from our balcony. Every morning, the breakfast was amazing, fresh eggs cooked to your liking and a fantastic array of breads, cheese, meat, even sparkling wine! The staff are so professional, they cannot do enough for you. The guys at the bar are so friendly and love to chat. If you do nothing else but have a glass of prosecco overlooking the wonderful view as the sun is about to set, then you are guaranteed an unbelievable treat. We have stayed at this hotel before and we cannot wait to return. Nothing

The property is beach front, with a short set of stairs to reach the sea. It is modern and clean throughout. The stuff is kind and attentive. Perfectly located in the heart of Palinuro. My family and I had an great time.

Wonderful staff, beautiful facilities, stupendous view. Comfortable bed and good pillows. Room a little on the small. side for us and our luggage, but ok for 1 night.

Everything was perfect except that maybe the night porter in such a hotel you expect him to be in uniform, however, he was welcoming and very kind. All was perfect
