Comfortable and clean accommodations run by a lovely couple. Dinner is available by arrangement and was delicious.

The absolute stand out is the breakfast. There is a large selection of both fresh and home-made products. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. I was offered dinner each evening which I declined but that rates as a positive feature. The location is at the end of a steep, almost off-road descent which is quite an adventure. However, it is extremely quiet and peaceful. So breakfast, hosts and location are important positive features of this property. Unfortunately I have marked down some scores because either the booking information is not accurate or I was allocated a different room to that booked. I had a small bedroom, Milan hotel style. The bed and nothing much else in the room. This meant the bathroom was separate which I really do not like. There were two other rooms besides mine. One had en suite facilities but the other did not. Would that room have been sharing the bathroom with me had it been occupied? Also, it means constantly having to cover up - no wandering to the bathroom in the mornings or for late night forays to the WC as it would mean wandering naked in a public area. So no, that does not do it for me. The booking dot com confirmation says my room has a patio. It did not. Mme the host said I have the run of the property so I could find an outdoor spot I guess, but not private. The confirmation also says I have a view. I did - of an enormous shrub in front of the window. See attached photo. The double bed might be so. But it is single duvets. As a large circumference person, these do not work well for me. Double duvet on a double bed please. So inaccurate description or the wrong room? I don't know.

Our host Carl was very welcoming and prepared a lovely gluten free meal for my coeliac partner. The accommodation was spotlessly clean with comfy bed. There was also a bath and a shower. Breakfast was exceptional too.

Service was excellent, the woman in charge of the hotel was super nice, helped us as much as she can, the pool was great and we were allowed to use it even at night. Thank you so so much for your kindness. Maybe the location is not the best, but it really worths it, get there if you can.

A little gem of a place tucked away down a track and with garden frontage to the canal du midi. Charming hosts, good breakfast and coffee and comfortable bed. Karl is a great cook. Nothing.
