Staff was always very friendly. Room had limited number of people. The area is much less touristy. Good food options nearby. The room had AC which was SO NICE! Kitchen seemed kind of dirty always. Common area had limited seating. No laundry services.

That my bus was late and I had to find a hostel. Thanks for taking me in on short notice!

It's acceptable... Mostly Doesn't deserve the stars it has. Low quality place. The air conditioner was not sufficient even when asked to increase it. Bed was lopsided.

Broken locker, cheap bunk bed, sewage smell due to improper ventilation in bathroom

Great location, close to Montparnasse station. Good price, pretty much what you'd expect from a hostel at this price. 4 bed room had a private bathroom. Quick and seamless check-in. Place shows it's age. The bunk bed was pretty rickety, any sort of movement is likely to wake up your bunkmate. Storage locker is super narrow and hard to lock.

nothing It's a run-down dirty building.the staircase feels like it's coming apart.the hallways and rooms are dirty and uncomfortable and very badly lit.there is no hang-out lounge.except for a few broken chairs. It actually looks more like a homeless shelter than a hostel.and the location is terrible too far from central Paris.overall it's disgusting and should be avoided at all costs.

It was not very clean and there is no place to work.

I was surprised that towels were not included and had to be rented separately. Guests also have to purchase or rent a padlock to secure their belongings, which should be clearly stated in advance.

Location is convenient, Easy to get to metro. Neighborhood is good and safe. None

Everything

nice and clean.

It's okay at best. It's almost an hour if you walk from the city center. The bathroom is semi-cleaned and smelled weird.

The beds did not have curtains, there was a hole in the bathroom under the shower, and the hallways did not feel overly clean. The area also did not feel particularly safe. The price we paid was very high for the state of the hostel.

Isolation of the rooms was a bit bad and people were making noises on the balcony even night, stuff should be carefull about this.

Clean bed sheets There's no elevator, so I had to climb up to the 5th floor with all my luggage, up the creaky and narrow stairs. Every day after long sightseeing walks you need to push yourself to the 5th floor. Your 4 females shared room, actually consists of two connected rooms for 8 people. The toilet flashes in both bathrooms are broken. The doors and metal lockers are VERY noisy, making it impossible to enter the room or bathroom without disturbing others. Every touch of a locker causes a loud noise that echoes throughout the room. The air conditioner is covered in dust 30 cm from the pillow. Every time I entered this room, I developed a runny nose and a stuffy throat. There were no towels available at reception when I checked in.

The location is pretty centric and the price is reasonable. That's not a 2 stars hostel at all. First, I came at 10:30am, there was nobody at the reception, I tried to call multiple times - no response. So I couldn't even leave my stuff there. After check in - no explanation about where the kitchen is, hair dryer, storage room, WiFi, etc. I only got a key. Really small room (4 girls), wasn't really clean. No privacy in the beds, no curtains - everything/everyone is visible which is not comfortable. The window in the bathroom couldn't be closed , it had tape on it in order to close it at least somehow. Moreover - I was sitting on the sofa at the entrance once and my clothes got dirty/wet, so I had to wash it. There was a drunk guy once, who started speaking to me which was absolutely disgusting. Don't recommend this place at all.

This is the hostel with the worst sound insulation I’ve ever stayed in. You can clearly hear conversations from the room next door, as well as people going up and down the stairs outside the door. Even when I wore earplugs, I could still hear everything. At the check-in desk there was a note saying they are not responsible for lost items, which is ironic because the lockers in the room cannot be locked — even if you bring your own lock. So how are guests supposed to keep their belongings safe if the lockers can’t be secured? Also, throughout my entire stay I never saw a hair dryer. Every time I asked the staff whether one was available, they said someone else had borrowed it and that they would bring it to my room once it was returned. But I never received a hair dryer, nor did I see any staff come to deliver one. This is not a place I would stay at again.

Good cheap no frills place. Bathroom is cleaned every day, sheets and everything seem clean. Shower and hot water work great. Room is also heated perfectly in the winter. They let me store my luggage for free before checking in which was great! They want an extra 10 euros if you want to check in an hour early though. All the staff were very nice to me even though I dont speak French only English. Thank you!!! Has a lot of small issues that need maintenance (hole in the wall under the shower, usb port or reading light on some beds not working) but these are minor inconveniences and didn't bother me much. The trash in the kitchen definitely needs to be taken out more often it was very full and gave the kitchen a bad smell at times.
