Previous occupant had broken the AC controls and so we had to use a breaker in the hallway to use the AC.

Location and staff
-
Great location, lovely staff, very comfortable room. 24/7 front desk. We will stay again. It was fine for me, but the bathroom is a tub with a handheld sprayer, no standup shower.
-
The nice staff, the location , the breakfast!! The hand held showerhead with no enclosure. Some paint chipping off the walls.
-
Bathing was a bit different than by American standards. Not used to the hand held shower with no curtain.
-
Wonderful staff in this hotel. Location fantastic-short walk down the street to the Luxembourg Gardens. Beds are comfortable The hotel could be freshened up. Shower is hand held. Rooms are very small
-
The fact that you have to leave the key at the reception when leaving, that didn’t feel secure
-
Perfect location with amazing shops and restaurants close by

The bathtub in our room was disgusting. It either needs a good cleaning or replacing I wouldn't sit in it. There is a :shower hose so you can stand but no curtain or door for the shower.
-
Tne bath room only had a handheld shower head and we had to climb over the side of a bathtub to get in the shower. This is not convenient for people our age. A step next to the tub would help and the possibility to hang the shower head on a hook would help as well.
-
Noisy on street side Prefer a shower over tub with hand held sprayer.
-
No shower head in the bathroom. No bath curtain. Strange position of the bathtub.

Loved the bathtub and the room was very clean. Very close to lots of restaurants and the Jardin du Luxembourg. The breakfast was served by a very friendly server. Consisted of continental breakfast type food, baked goods, yogurt, coffee and juice. It was served in a really cool basement that reveals the hotel’s age. It would have been complete with an omelette! The elevator accommodates one person with a carryon.

I loved the location of this hotel! It was just down the street from the Luxembourg Gardens, down the street from iconic restaurants like La Vavin, La Rotonde and Le Relais de l'Entrecote and many others on the Montparnasse. I felt safe walking around the neighborhood and it was on the quieter side of Paris but still close to the tourist attractions. Air conditioning and a lift (elevator)! I know summers can get hot and this hotel had ample conditioning that kept our room cold. Also, many establishments have walk ups rather than elevators, so if you have heavy luggage, you'll need one especially going up to the higher floors. This hotel has an elevator but enough for 2 people (1 person if they have a set of luggage) but it's doable! I can't think of anything.

Staff very pleasant. There was no proper shower, it was very difficult to get in and out of the bath.

The location is excellent and the room was fine, comfortable. We were in Paris for 4 days during a mini heatwave. The room was in the attic and had an airco unit but it did not work. We did not get offered another room but after some discussion did end up-up paying a bit less. I would have preferred a room with cooling, ventilation so as to get a good night’s rest. For the rest, everything was fine so I don’t want to place too much importance on it and I trust the hotel will have the unit fixed for the summer.

Staff were amazing, they were so kind and sincere. Location was wonderful, it was so close to everywhere. Our room was very good especially comparing the small rooms in Europe. The only thing I dislike was the elevator which was very small. We were at the first floor so we needn’t to use it. If you have chance ask for the rooms at the first floor.

Its perfect location in vibrant but quiet area Air con wasn’t working, the wall next to balcony was all covered in mould that gave me bad allergies even though they were smartly covered by heavy curtains Tv remote was missing, all tv channels in french Room small but cozy however without air con was way too hot to sleep
