Hotel Excelsior Batignolles

Had we tried to cook it would have been impossible. There was no cutting board, bread knife, spatula, ladle, large spoon, etc. Also there was no coffee maker, just a hotpot.

The toilet room is quite small (but great to have separate toilet!) and you can hear some noise from other rooms.

The room is ok, but don’t expect something luxurious. Additionally, be aware that the old wood floor makes lots of noise and might have nails that might hurt you.

The hotel was relatively close to the center, every tourist attraction we visited (except Versailles) was within 30 minutes with easy to access transport. The neighborhood was lively, and surprisingly - the hotel was in a really quiet spot. The staff was extremely helpful, spoke perfect English and was always ready to help, even with things that are not their responsibility. If I ever want to visit Paris again (I definitely would) - I would not look for other place!

Excellent location, stylish interieur, nice balcony, comfortable bed, grand mirror, good value for the prize. The walls are thin, you can hear noise from neighboring rooms and from the street, there is no tap in the toilet, you have to go around the room to the shower.

Super friendly staff, very clean facility, easily walkable from metro in a good neighborhood Well my only complaint was the coffee machine was broken one day and I don't do well on a breakfast without coffee. ;-)

Location, cleanliness, comfort

The location is close to two metro stations and bus stops. Restaurants were also walking distance. The room was nice with a big bathroom, a bathtub and a big window for fresh air, The breakfast was ok, very basic. It had cereal, coffee, breads, jams etc. You could have fresh orange juice if you would cut the oranges and operate the little machine they had.

Location was great… not good: GREAT wifi Internet really really sucks, we can’t even load a single image… it wasn't a range problem, it was just bad, poor velocity. Think twice if you are going for work.

Breakfast option was not available during booking, and after arrival to the hotel they mentioned to pay travel/tourist tax which was not shown during booking.

Location Very bad. No sound protections. You can hear everything including your neighbors next room going to the toilet. Bad was uncomfortable and narrow. Dirty and super small bathroom
