Hotel Marceau Champs Elysees

This hotel was everything I wanted considering the location and price and I did search a lot of options. It is close to the several metro options , cafes/restaurants, a pharmacy and a wonderful little bakery. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I was there on a Monday-Thursday and was lucky to get a corner unit with a picture book view the streets and cafes below. The room size was a bit larger then most European standards and the bathroom was very much up to date. Perfect size for one or 2 people. The weather!

Location Terrible wi-fi. No sound proof. Was terrible hearing other guests coming’home’ at 1-2am, taking showers etc etc. Extremely small rooms with very little place to put or hang things.

Hotel in desperate need of updates- very unloved place. The smell in the rooms, the fact that everything looked dirty, including the carpets.

The location is superb, the price is lowest I could find for this location. The room was okay, the hotel is old but well maintained, so for this price the value for money is okay. Breakfast room is so small and so stuffy because the kitchen is right inside, the variety is quite small.

Close to all the places that I wanted to visit while visiting Paris and is a couple of minutes walk from my relatives residence. Nice and clean

The breakfast was right next to our room. We thought it would be loud and it was not. The rooms were very clean and updated. The shower in the room we were in did not have a separator from the toilet, so the water went everywhere.....but it was a large bathroom area. It was just interesting.

Perfectly situated within walking distance of many of the main attractions, Marceau is a very good value for money hotel in the heart of the action. Apart from the comfort and cleanliness of the room and nice little Coffee area downstairs, the best feature was the staff, who went above and beyond for all our needs. So friendly and welcoming, the staff alone made us want to visit again. Thanks so much for making it a great stay, we will be back! If I had to ‘Nit pick’, the lift was a bit noisy, but we couldn’t hear it in our room so it was no problem for us.

The room could be bigger as it was coming on a corner. But the rooms in Paris are usually small.

Shower went all over the floor. Glass wall not wide enough

Great location. 16 walk mins to the Eiffel Tower. 5 mins to Arc De Triomphe. 7 mins to Champs De Elysées. Our corner room was on the 5th floor with great views. Lots of restaurants to choose from.
