Wonderful location, close to metro, very walkable and thriving with local restaurants and activities. Nice design touches especially inside the room. Smooth processes and friend staffs. Smaller and a bit aged. Tiny elevator so probably better for a quick stay with minimal luggage

Good, comfortable, and nicely-styled accommodation. It is a small hotel, and the bedrooms and public rooms are not large, but if you are out and about in the city, that may be all you need. Convenient to the Metro system. It felt like a safe and relaxed area, but there is perhaps too much tagging and graffiti on buildings in the area to call it a pretty place, even if Hotel Taylor is smart. The Canal St Martin area is close by and has a sociable vibe.

The room was a nice size and had window that opened out onto the street to let in cool air. And it had aircon! Which was very important as we travelled in July. The location was great, with lots of bars and cafes on the next street over and several metros nearby. The breakfast was really quite expensie for what you got. I would not include breakfast next time and just eat out in one of the cute cafes nearby.

Excellent location. Was able to walk to all the places I wanted to visit, i.e. around Marais and Republique. Nice choice of cafés and restaurants nearby. Cleaners did excellent job. Also liked the tea, coffee and cake in the lobby every day. A nice touch. Front desk staff - a couple of them were a bit sullen. My room was a nice size for Paris, but window looked out to roof.

Overall Hotel Taylor offers a good experience. The hotel is nicely located and easy to walk to a lot of places from here, or just a few minutes to the local metro. The lobby also has some nice areas to sit and relax. Our room was simple, clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy and we appreciated the excellent air con in our room. The staff were nice and allowed us to leave our bags there to pick up later on check out. Unfortunately from our room we could hear the very loud noise of the stairs and doors slamming frequently (I think from the lift?). For a hotel, allowing doors to slam so loudly really disrupts the experience and this was across multiple floors. In addition to that, there’s currently construction starting at 7:30am that woke us up every morning (except Sunday). I had to sleep with ear plugs in just to try and make it through the night undisturbed.

Hotel Taylor is a good gotel if you dont plan to spend a lot of time in the hotel. The room was just big enough. Similar to what you'd expect in a densely populated city like Paris or New York. The staff was really nice and helped with everything. The location was perfect for what I wanted to see and do on this visit so it it was central for me. The tiny/tiny elevator. Also the breakfast is a small spread and the scrambeled eggs tasted like liquid egg product. Would be nice to have a few more options including eggs made when ordered or a better scrambled egg product.

The breakfast was delicious and very Parisian. The location was wonderful. It was a bit of a quieter area that was lovely after a day of touristing as hard as you can. It look a little longer to walk to some of the sites than I would have liked, but the access to transportation from the hotel was wonderful. There are 3 metro stations that are within easy walking distance. We found the young man that helped us check in to be delightful and very helpful especially when it came to transportation in the area. I would stay here again.
